What a treacherous day to play, puts your course management and wind play to the test. Would love to play this course in the summer. Gilly is making up for his disappointing play on the Xmas special. Luke is also playing well, as he should, after all he’s a 3 handicap. 4 under in these conditions is a excellent score.

This is a great reflection of proper links golf. Great to hear explanations of why different shots are appropriate. I coach hockey and the one weather I dread is not rain, sleet or just the cold but it is wind because it makes the kids all giddy and muck about and talk non-stop. It appears that applies to people in their 40s too. This proves once and for all that we are all kids really. 👍

A great place to stay for golf as there are a few courses not far away, we normally stay at porth, played Newquay in august, but played merlin in april

Some great photography and fully agree that the views are something else - just add a nice temperature of 21-22c and sunshine with only a gentle zephyr, then you could not wish for more! Great to see the plans for the clubhouse as well - exciting times for Newquay!

He is a good middle / long iron player so tends to leave himself full shots in tournaments, play to your strengths I guess.

@@DanHendriksenGolf I feel his pain I got back down to 0.8 this year from nearly 4 purely due to not leaving myself around 30-60 yards in I was hitting it closer with a full Pw- 8 iron so now always pull up shorter to greens which last year gave me more GIR and subsequently more birdie putts less 3 putts.. have that Bryson 😂😂😂
