No chance. Price structure appears along the lines of a lot of VEGAS casino hotels and the only reason Primm worked back in the day was $19.99 rooms compared to $59.99 room in Vegas. At similar prices and the Primm/Mall property closed.no way this place works.
@petrus666love2 жыл бұрын
@@steveludwig4200 They should definitely lower the room rates , then I’m sure the place would fill up, I personally loved the place back in the day .
@steveludwig42002 жыл бұрын
@@petrus666love " back in the day" is correct. As in back in the NINETIES this place worked because of the "family friendly" trend in Vegas...the roller coaster and other rides, etc as well as $20 rooms. NONE of that will work 25-30 years later with inflation and much higher wages for employees across the board. EVERY casino/hotel in Primm will be gone within 5 years..tops and replaced by more solar panels and weed shops.

Adam and Dani, You guys ride the Desperado rollercoaster... I'll pass. My wife, kids, and I are a rollercoaster junkies, (love Magic Mountain) but last time I rode it... around 2018 or around there, it beat my wife and I up painfully bad. (kids did not mind) I also rode it when it was brand new, (1994) and it was glass smooth and awesome. But, as the years went by, it got too rough for us. The Log ride was fun though, and yes, there was a drop tower and 3D simulation ride too.

My Daughter and I rode this coaster an entire day, all by ourselves. Over and over and over. We were moving away from Las Vegas, after 20 years living there and spent 2 nights at Wild Bills, just by chance. We had the entire place to ourselves, the pool, the amusement area, the restaurants. It was an ominous feeling. We stopped in there to ride the roller coaster and log flume and when we saw how empty the entire place was, we decided to spend the night and use the pool and have lunch and then dinner. We literally were the only people there. 1 family of 4 and all the workers. That was it. My daughter rode the coaster the entire day. At least 50x. Over and over. Eventually, they just let her stay on and I joined in but after about 15x+/-, I had enough fun and enjoyed watching her. I knew we would never have an experience like this, again. This was June 18, 2017

So glad it's open again. I have many memories of this place from when I was a teen coming up with my parents and getting all day ride wristbands while my parents gambled, to as an adult where I am the one gambling while my husband and daughter do the arcades/rides (in the years leading up to the pandemic). You are correct that there used to be a drop ride in the back, outside. I believe it was called Turbo Drop. I rode it many times as a teen but when I came back as an adult, it was gone. You covered so much detail of this property, that I learned a few things despite having been here probably over 20 times - like the cowboy in the bath tub. Definitely stopping by soon and will look closer to detail of this property. I have stayed overnight but the beds are really uncomfortable and just prefer the Vegas strip for an overnight stay.

I remember when they would sell out of rooms. I rode both the monorail and the train to and from Whiskey Pete’s. Rode the roller coaster and thought I would fly out of the car. Turned out I hadn’t fastened my seat belt. (I may have been drinking.) Thank goodness for lap bars. I also recall fillet mignon being $10. Often hung out at the Tree Bar and the Stage Bar. Vegas was okay. Buffalo Bill’s was home. The downward spiral started when the Primm family sold the resort. Affinity Gaming just spent millions renovating the Buffalo Bill rooms and casino. I’m not sure I like the big TVs added to the Tree Bar. Hopefully they will continue investing in the property. Bringing the rides back online would be a great advertisement for I-15 traffic. Not very promising as the train tracks on the Whiskey Pete’s side are long gone. When they stopped running the trains they had them both parked on the bridge inside Buffalo Bill’s casino, but I didn’t see them in your video so maybe they were sold at some point. I was surprised to see the logs sitting in the flume. This place used to really jump and some big names used to play in the Arena. Good times.

Jean, Nevada. They used to have 2 casinos across from each other on either side of the road. One looked like a riverboat. I don't see either on Google Maps anymore, so I think they both closed down.
