Happy Birthday and thanks for sharing. I was surprised that Denny's was still in business. All of their restaurants have been close from the east coast to about the Mississippi for the last 25 years. Their food tastes bland but is a cheep option, people who work there were always nice.

Noise has always been my worry about staying downtown, I always thought choosing a high room on the back side from Fremont would be the best choice, but then you probably have a less fun view.

So far golden nugget in the tower farthest from Fremont has been good. The grand or main Street are close by not on Fremont. I'll have to try those and report back.

Absolutely! If I was able to sleep through the night this would be a perfect budget downtown option. Loved the vibe. Everyone we met was in a super good mood and great location with awesome bonuses.

It was legit! Even though it was quiet. Fun bartenders and we met a super nice couple we talked to for a while. The water temp was perfect.

Does throwing 20 bucks at the front desk clerk still work for getting an upgraded room? I've heard it does but I've never tried it? I'm booked here for Feb 10th-15th. My major concern is getting a quiet room. If that's even possible. And Happy birthday

I have honestly never done that. When you make a reservation, you can put in a note for a request. I would think you can also discuss it with the front at check in. If I check in early, I normally try to not be picky but doesn't hurt to ask. Good luck!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Dani looks like you had a great one which you so deserve also I hope you and Eddie had an awesome time checking out different things off camera as well, now I will say you picked what I call the best area to visit in Vegas good old downtown and let me tell you the D to me looked like a great place to stay especially if you could stay there for the price you stayed for, now you guys going to that other resort to utilize there pool was a good choice because like you said it’s an amazing pool and big at that and I’m glad you enjoyed your time at the pool, now I must give it up for that amazing view of Vegas and I’m sure a sucker for amazing views like the one you had also before I forget I wanted to say I really love the music you added to the video, well Dani I’m glad you had fun on your birthday 🎂 peace ☮️ out ✌️

Thank you! It was a fun birthday trip. Downtown always has a great vibe. Next day was more of the birthday celebration without the camera. Went to my favorite sushi spot and a golden knights game. I was so tired but it was a nice birthday!!

Yea, the one at the D has been gone for a few months now and the one that was at the Plaza has been gone even longer. Kind of limits the budget options to eat down on Fremont. I hope you had a great birthday.
