A rare gem from a peak recording era from Elvis. I've read that certain singers such as Aretha Franklin were superior technical vocalists, and Tom Jones certainly has a more powerful voice at times etc but there's something about the untrained Elvis vocal, style, persona, honesty and charisma that just none of them can touch! It's a shame it was all downhill after this period here, too many demons, but still The King TCB today! 👑😎 Quite incredible when you think about it.

@@janetmyles8764 I appreciate your loyalty, Elvis had a great sounding, if limited voice and lot's of charm, charisma and character with good control, but is far from being able to do what Dimash can do through six octaves and a whistle note at D8, which is higher than Mariah or Ariana who are super tallented but also cannot hold a candle to what Dimash can do. Check out Dimash singing SOS or Across the Endless dimentions or even Unforgetable Day with that D8 in it.

Hi Wade I checked out your Dimash recommendations plus a couple of others. Technically he is a very good singer and he definitely has a pleasant tone and very good range. But I miss the “heart” in his singing. I could not connect emotionally to his song’s interpretation or delivery. This is where Elvis beats all comers hands down. His ability to connect to his listeners is as powerful today as it was when he first recorded the songs. Fortunately music is such an individual taste and I hope you will continue to enjoy Dimash’s music, just as I will remain a dedicated Elvis fan.

@@richardeidemiller6739 Elvis was one of those who delivered so much charisma that it overtook women's senses, like the Beatles did later and now Dimash. I think Dean Martin did Memories are Made Of This better than anyone else could because his character matched the song. Dimash does not always have that nor the smooth manly quality of Dean Or Elvis, for he tries to put strong operettic sounds on some songs where they don't belong or to show off his vocal range where it is not needed, an example of this is the song "All by my self" which he overpowered and ruined the ending of. But a six to seven octave range is unheard of in any singer I can ever recall. 5 is tops.
