Thank you! Have been sick for 5 months. With a lot of the symptoms you talk about. Fatigue is awful. Weight gain losing hair thyroid levels way off adrenal gland issues and the list goes on Had them put in after second bout of cancer (double mastectomy)

Let's be honest. "I wanted to have it all" means that her career was exploding and offers were coming from everywhere. It helped marketing. I get that, and don't really blame her. ----At least she didn't blame men for being responsible for a bad body image and "forcing" her to get implants in order to cope, like so many others. Good for her.

It’s called spreading awareness.. I had never heard about BII until hearing her story. I would still be suffering in silence. Also, you need to realize that most doctors don’t take women serious. They also in a lot of cases don’t believe BII is real. She’s letting other women know that we aren’t crazy and what we are feeling is not normal.

If I hadn't heard about BII from a friend years back, it wouldn't have clicked for me when I got unexplainably sick that Drs just couldn't figure out and told me I was normal and healthy. Though I wondered how I could wake up every morning and feel like I was dying. Then the BII think came back to mind again with my 30+ symptoms, got an ultrasound and MRI and confirmed ruptures in both which would explain the onset of symptoms. However the other interesting thing I learned was that one was actually ruptured from year one (showed up as a cyst according to my regular GP but was in fact a rupture). Like geeze. Anyways post explant surgery this year....dropped all 30+ symptoms and do the exact same thing, tell my story to simply spread awareness and it may click for others that are also suffering and have no idea why. Or maybe they know why but don't have the courage to explant and know that it's actually ok and more than better on the other side when you have your health back.

Well in that case no guy would exactly be keen on telling people the penis enlargement pills didn't work because it basically tells the world he has a small penis.
