I can't get past ..the angels gather the elect from the 4 corners of the heavens? So the elect are already in heaven before the end of the tribulation? So the elect come back with Yeshu Jesus...because we've already been caught up with him in the sky? That's the way I've always understood??

@@harlielewis4075 Jesus said actually according to the KJV: Mark 13:26-27 26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. 27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven. It mentioned indeed uttermost part of heaven also, but I actually think that his elect are the Jews, also those Jews on earth during the tribulation period and who make it to the end. Most of the people(not Jews) who repent during the tribulation period will be beheaded if they are lucky. If not they will probably choose/worship the Image of the beast or the beast and will fall under Gods wrath and or judgement. But check out the next "small excerpt" which I found on the internet because of your question which mentioned the word elect. (By the way thank you for asking, so I had to dig deeper into this). Contents 1 Who are “the elect” referred to in Matthew 24:31? Dr. Renald Showers: The question here is this: “Who are the elect that he gathers with a great sound of a trumpet from the four winds of heaven? Are they the Church saints?” I’m convinced that they are not. Let me tell you why. For one thing, if you’re going to say these are Church saints, you’re overlooking some extensive revelation that’s given to us in the Old Testament. What kind of revelation? There are passages in the Old Testament where God calls the whole nation of Israel “His chosen,” literally “His Elect.” Then there are prophetic promise passages in the Old Testament to the effect that in the end times He would gather together His chosen ones, His elect, particularly the believing remnant of Israel from all corners of the earth, gather them together even from the four winds, gather them together again so that they could go into the Millennial Kingdom with the Messiah whenever He reigns. Let me read to you a fascinating promise that God delivered to Israel through the prophet Isaiah in Isaiah 27:12-13: “O ye children of Israel, and it shall come to pass in that day that the great trumpet shall be blown and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria and the outcasts in the land of Egypt and shall worship the Lord in the holy mount of Jerusalem.” God here was promising toward the end times if you read the whole context that He’s going to re-gather His scattered people of Israel from many different places around the world and He will do that in conjunction with the blowing of the great trumpet. Matthew 24:31: “He shall send his angels with the sound of a great trumpet and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds from one end of heaven to the other.” In light of those Old Testament parallels, I’m convinced that the elect here in Matthew 24:31 are not Church saints but the people of Israel who have been scattered throughout the world, perhaps even more specifically the faithful remnant of Jews who have become believers in the Lord during the seven year Tribulation period and are still alive on the face of the earth at His glorious second coming back to the earth immediately after the Tribulation period. He will gather together this faithful remnant of Jews from all over the world back to the land of Israel with the sound of a great trumpet. Now, there’s a second reason I’m convinced this is referring to the elect of Israel and not to the Church elect or Church saints. The whole context of Matthew 24 is a Jewish context, not a Church context. Jesus, as we saw in verse 15, speaking ahead of time to Jews of that future Tribulation period, said, “When you see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet standing in your holy place.” Well, who had the holy place? The Gentiles? No, the people of Israel did. That’s a reference to a temple of God in Israel, “standing in your holy place, then let them which be in Judea [these are Jews living in their own land of Israel] flee unto the mountains. Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house,” etc., and then He says to them that they really ought to be concerned that their flight not be on the sabbath day, verse 20, “but pray that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day.” He’s talking here about Jews and how this will affect Jews. The whole context is a Jewish context. And so I take it that the elect here are Jewish people whom He will gather together through His holy angels from the four winds, really the idea is from all four directions, under the heavens here on planet Earth back to their homeland of Israel in conjunction with His second coming. 4. When Jesus comes in relation to the tribulation indicates two events Rapture: Jesus comes to rescue Christians before the hour of trial Second Coming: Jesus will come after the Tribulation to rule the world. Dr. David Breese: Well, the Bible teaches that Christ is coming at the end of the age (that’s at the end of the Tribulation) “in power and great glory” and He’s coming with “ten thousands of His saints.” And that will be the great denouement of history whereby He establishes His Kingdom. But the Scripture then teaches that preceding that glorious return of Christ there will be a seven-year period called “The Tribulation,” but it’s about the Tribulation the Scripture says to Christians: “…because you have kept the word of my patience, I will keep you from that hour of trial [temptation, tribulation] that will come upon the whole world to try them that dwell on the earth.” Therefore, we see in Scripture that the Bible says that Christ will come for His saints before the beginning of the Tribulation and take all believing Christians up to be with Him in Heaven. Spoken of in 1 Thessalonians 4, “The Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, the voice of the archangel, the trump of God: the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord” [1 Thess. 4:16-17]. Paul expands on this a little bit in 1 Corinthians 15 saying to the Corinthians, he says, “Behold, I show you a mystery: we will not all sleep, but we shall all be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye at the last trump: the trumpet shall sound, the dead shall be raised incorruptible and we shall be changed.” So we can assure every believer within the sound of this voice that there’s coming a moment when they will be caught up in their physical bodies into the presence of Jesus Christ so as to ever be with the Lord. Perhaps in short we might say that Christ is coming at the end of the Tribulation with His saints but before that He is coming for His saints. @@harpazoman5328 I understand that the tribulation for the people of Israel will be unbearable..and for us in America it will be hard as well since there are more believers in Christ here and the rest of the world since obviously there are more believers in Christ outside of Israel than in...I believe the pope is going to push the alien gods more in the future...probably pretty near future by the looks of the skies lately? I have also found that buried in the affordable care act is something about beheadings? I pray that Jesus brings us out before this all takes place...it makes since sense there are many bringing forth this truth about aliens being the fallen angels of genesis 6...I don't think that believing or not believing in the time of rapture is a salvation stealer..no ones salvation is going to be taken away merely because someones interpretation on being caught up is different..I have been leaving a plethora of things for those that are left behind in case we are raptured before the tribulation starts..all of the things we write on these internet channels goes into a quantum computer anyway which will help them round us up anyway...I know there is a lot of false doctrine going around these days...ALOT!! Thank you so much for these teachings. I also wanted to thank you and encourage you for speaking the sometimes unpopular truth about when the elect are gathered to be with the Lord. I was taught the pre trib rapture growing up. Then in my 20s I met a great man who encouraged me to seek the truth of scripture for myself instead of blindly following denominational doctrine. This has been the foggiest peak in the prophetic range thus far. Many details of the landscape are shrouded in mist. "Centuries" of gap span nearly two millenia, but the book of Daniel would be larger than the Bible if it were otherwise. Pre-tribulation rapture theory seems to me dangerously deceptive as it makes the tribulation impossible to identify by pushing it away by the absence of rapture. One might say, "This can't be the tribulation, this mark on my hand not THE MARK because the bible says the rapture comes first." The will to escape persecution strikes me as an unwillingness to share in Christ's sufferings. Jesus suffered unto death, not that men might not suffer, but that their suffering might be like his, and lead them up to his perfection. The man who loves God, and is not yet pure, courts the burning of God. Fine work, Mark, I always enjoy and appreciate your teaching videos!

The day of the Lord is Armageddon. The great restrainer must be removed before the tribulation shall begin. We will never agree, but this is not a point of contention, rather merely interpretation. Good teaching on Daniel 11.

Looks to me like that restrainer gets removed in Daniel 12.. then begins the last 3.5yrs (signalling that major Rev 6 "tribulation" red war horse abomination which the first white horse rider, aka the AC and/or the False Prophet beast that came/comes in 'peaceably' with flattering speech). It seems to me that after being taught for nearly 50 years about the Pre-Trib Rapture, it boils down to 3 or 4 things. One is Enoch being removed prior to the flood so therefore he's a picture, type or shadow of the church. The second is scripture indicating it is not appointed for us (The Church) to suffer God's wrath. The third is a straining to make the Day of the Lord and The Day of Christ completely different. Of course a fourth, and seemingly a bit strained as well, is the various references to harvests so we had to find a way to represent the Firstfruits, Main Harvest and Gleanings. From there we sought scriptures to find more than one gathering, some I've studied having as many as 3 or more gatherings beyond the Pre-Trib Rapture. Mark, I thank for both your boldness and the sweetness that you went about your delivery that, to most, will seem to be heresy. I believe, sir, that you are perhaps unfolding a truth that many shall reject.

However, about 5 years ago, as I began to study Scripture regarding this highly controversial topic, The Holy Spirit began to slowly and mythology remove the scales from my eyes. Jesus is from the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of truth. The spirit of truth is he who is to come. The Son of Man. The Son of Man is the father of the body of Christ. The body of Christ was given two names, Jesus and Immanuel. Jesus, saves his people. Immanuel, God with us. Jesus represents the angels. Immanuel represents mankind. Jesus already saved his people. @Remnant Church, you are really sure of your self, but what if you are wrong? By the way there is no such thing as spiritual eyes. Indeed God reveals the truth but through the holy spirit who is also God. Most of the time of the things you are speaking of, are a state of mind and how you are feeling. But did the Lord actually take you up into the spirit and showed you these things or did you hear his audible voice. Did you spoke to the Lord on your knees and did He agree with all your requests. I will tell you this, all these things I just said, He did it with me. But still I am being tested over and over again and every time I failed Him again and again. Tribulation Period is no vacation on earth with all the demons and fallen angels on earth and I didn't even yet mentioned the wrath of God. Brother Mark is doing a excellent job, I love his teachings, he is one of the best and his videos are really wonderful. But don't forget one thing God means what he says. If he says in Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Then it is as he has said it and don't make other things of it because you see things what others don't see. Satan has also a copy of Revelation and he is a deceiver.

The hour of temptation that Rev.3:10 is speaking about could very well be speaking about could be what Rev 14:10 is talking about"the wine of the wrath of God". Now what verses 12-14 tell me that the saints "here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.'' and "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them."

Those who violates Gods Word without repentance will feel his rod and those who are constantly disobedient to the Father and refuse to repent will also feel his rod. But those who totally do not return to the Father because they love their sin and the things of this world more then the Father and his Son Jesus who is also God, will feel God's wrath because they have choose to worship the beast and the image of the beast.

All this defending of dispensational theology seems to me a little discouraging. This end time study was about one of the most reveling scriptures in Dan 11 about the event that will usher in the 2nd coming, and a command in Matt 24:15 to understand what we are reading. Really our attention should be his study. I know from1Th 4:16-18 that Christ shall desend then there are, the dead in Christ first then we who are alive caught up with them in the clouds forever with Christ. TAKE COMFORT IN THAT. Great study Mark. Easy to follow and informational commentary of Dan. 11:1-31. Can't wait for the 31-45

Hello Mark, do you believe that the 6 th seal is the same event as the 7 th trumpet ( like me ) or is the 6 th seal before the 7 th trumpet and then what is the 6 th seal ( not the 2 nd coming ? ) 6 th seal sounds like Matthew 24:29-30....and I also believe that the 7 th vile is the same event as the 6 th seal and the 7 th trumpet. Because in revelation 16:15 it says :.Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.( As though the rapture , the 2 nd coming has not happened yet )........but I'm not 100% sure of my understanding

Mark may I ask a question on your study. My understanding in this prophesy of Matt. 24:15 was that Jesus was referring to a past fullfillment of the future type of " the antichrist" in Daniel(Jesus doesn't say which of the 3 times its mentioned in the book we should study ch. 9,11,12 maybe all of them?). I also recongized Dan. 11:31 as referring to Antiochus IV in past studies. However this could be just a acceptance of popular opinion and not any judgement of my own on what exactly is being said. My question is are you suggesting Matt. 24:15 is speaking of a future coming of the "abomination of desolation" alone, and not the duel concept of a past antitype and future fullfillment of the past? I don't want to assume anything that wasn't said, but that was the feeling I was getting after listening to you link up Dan.11:31 with Matt 24:15 as during the "Great tribulation". If so more than half of ch.11 is about the last 7 years of man's rule on earth. Intresting

Antiochus Epiphanies certainly was a close foreshadowing of the final endtime antichrist. But Jesus, when He spoke in Matthew 24:15 & 21, used the simple future tense concerning things mentioned in Daniel 11. Paul also spoke in the future tense in II Thessalonians 2:3 & 4 when he spoke of the man of sin in the temple of God. So, yes, I believe that at least a part of Daniel 11 is yet to be fulfilled in the final 7, and 3 ½ years, before the coming of the Lord.

@@markmcmillion1 Well I have been over chapter 11 from v21 to the end of the chapter and I cannot find any verses that would give me any indicatation that they are about a precurser to the end time man of sin who the last verses are about. I orginally thought the ships of chittim episode was about "the line in the sand" however I have no confirmation on the ships identity as roman. I do see in verses 42,43 that the northern king advances through Egypt to the western and southern boarders and seizes the riches, but Antiochus IV was stopped from doing just that so the preterist view is incorrect and this must be endtime antichrist. I love your work on the rest of ch.11 and 12.

Brother Mark throws down the rapture hammer! :D Mark, Me and my wife began watching your Daniel videos a few months ago. We had no idea you had stopped the English videos for 6 years! So we got up to these chapters just in time for your return. God's timing surely is perfect. :) We are confused about some titles and some timing. Clearly Jesus says in Matt 24 that "great tribulation" comes after the abomination of desolation. So there are only 3 1/2 years of great tribulation? I'm unsure if I was ever taught anything specifically about "rapture" other than the "day and the hour" verses. I am open to the idea. I do not think Matt 24 is perfectly clear. Why does Jesus use "elect" and not "believers" or "redeemed" or "saved" or "followers" etc. Why are people still working as usual and snatched from the fields and mills when it is apparent the world is coming to an end. Hi Keith, thanks for your note and getting in contact. I’m glad to know that the videos are a blessing to you. You asked a few questions. Yes, what is called “the great tribulation” is a period of 3 ½ years, not 7 as some say. The 7 years comes from Daniel 9:27 and that’s where we get the info about “the last 7 years”. The most recent video I completed, the one about Daniel 11-a, is about what could be called “the first 3 ½ years”, the time just before the great tribulation. That’s an interesting question about why the Lord used the word “elect” rather than “saved”. From the many other references to the coming of the Lord and our gathering together unto Him, I’ve always had the impression that it is talking about what we today called “the saved” or “the believers”, meaning those who believe in the Lord. Yes, it does say, one shall be taken and another left. Life in one form or the other will still be going on during that most difficult time. We live in a big world and in my missionary travels I have at times been in places so remote that I have wondered how endtime events would impact those places. Maybe the verse is about that. Some verses give a picture of one thing and some of another but it doesn’t mean they conflict; they’re just different views of the big picture. I hope this is a help to you. For me when it comes to the pre-trib or post-trib discussion, the most important event to understand is what happens at the sound of the seventh trumpet. 1.Corinthians 15: 51,52 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. Paul writes “last trump”. We see in Revelation that the last trumpet is the seventh trumpet! That’s when the mystery of God is finished and the kingdoms of this world become the Lord’s. Revelation 10:7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets. Revelation 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17 and Matthew 24: 29-31 also mention the angel sounding the trumpet of God and the resurrection/rapture. There is a whole lot in common in all these verses. They’re all about the same event. It says in Revelation 11 that the wrath of God comes after the 7th trumpet. That’s when we won’t be here anymore. If we read what happens during the first 6 trumpets starting in Revelation 8, it sounds very much like a great tribulation.

The rapture is pre-tribulation. Why would Jesus make his church suffer through the tribulation? Jesus meets his church in the clouds. He doesn't come back to Jerusalem until after the 7 year tribulation. It is clear in Revelation, as the church is not present or mentioned during the tribulation period.

In Matthew are two ttake away. Once in the Times like befire Noah time when they marriad...and the second after the Tribulation. Be carefully what you say. Read Rev. 1:4,5,6 and look in the chapter 4 and 5 these are all in Hevean before the Messias opens the Seals.

Good teaching on the book of Daniel except for the time placement of the rapture. You cannot say, you're going to go through unspeakable horror therefore encourage each other with these words...you can only say that if it's " Hey, you're not gonna be here for the tribulation, be encouraged!" " The purpose for the seven year tribulation is for the SALVATION of the Jewish nation!!"

This may be far fetched, but is it possible that the narrative given about the little horn of Daniel 8, is ticking the boxes as we see how things are unfolding in Afghanistan? They have come in peaceably, they have humiliated might nations in their prosperity as the occupiers have been humiliated? (What if they proceed to redistribute wealth, isn't religion and their god most important to them etc etc?)

"Opinions among the scholars are divided, which is not unusual, and I will stand on the side of those who believe that the verses of Daniel 11:19 onwards have two (or three) fulfillments, which is quite expected. What evidence do we have? Realistically, what is described in verses 21 to 45, except verses 37-39, fits into the historical events during the reign of Antiochus Epiphanes. In this way there is no need to be inconsistent and the word "Egypt" interpret exclusively in a literal or purely symbolic sense. (verses 8, 42 and 43) We do not need to suffer too much from mistrust of skeptics because of suspicious interpretations of the word Edom, Ammon, horsemen, etc. I believe that in this way we gain a lot of credibility, which is a feature of correct understanding of prophecy. (Luke 21:15) On the other hand, if verse 19 describes only downfall of Antiochus III, it was done with too much emphasis! The term " stumble and fall " is not found anywhere else in the book of Daniel (Daniel 11:12, 14, 26, 33-35), but it is found in Jeremiah 50:32 (book which Daniel researched and appreciated highly) where references are made to complete destruction of the Babylonian kingdom because of its pride and humiliation inflicted upon God's people. (compare Jer @,29,39,40; 51: 51,52 with Daniel 8:4,7,8 and 11:3,4,16,18) Verse 19 adds, "and he will not be found." Something similar was recorded in verse 35 of the 2nd chapter, " and the wind carried them (human kingdoms or governments) away so that not a trace of them could be found...". Thus, it is possible that angel in verse 19 indicates the succession of kingdoms, not only kings? The next verse begins with the words: " And there will stand up in his position...". If this was merely the way to say that a successor inherits or takes over predecessors' throne, then the word " position " should be find multiple times from verses 5 to 19. These verses cover a period longer than 100 years during which there were five rulers of the Ptolemaic dynasty, and six of the Seleucid dynasty, but the word "position" occurs only in verse 7: " And one from the sprout of her roots will stand up in his position, and he will come to the army and come against the fortress of the king of the north ... " Even here we can not claim this is all about the throne succession because an offshoot also takes the lead in the fight against the king of the north! I consider important that Daniel 11:20 according to the translation of Theodotion, one of the oldest Bible translation reads: " There shall arise out of his root one removing a plant of the kingdom ..." 7 Those who still do not believe that our prophet wrote about the succession of kingdoms, or world powers, I want to remind of the verses of Daniel 11: 2,3"... archive.org/details/treegenerationsandappointedtimes.7z

I don't believe the abomination of desolation has anything to do with a 3RD temple built in Israel as they are NOT God's people. They rejected Christ and the Bible is clear that All that beleive in HIM (JESUS CHRIST) have eternal life. ( ANYONE JEW AND GENTALS THAT BELEIVE IN HIM) It's is also written that WE THAT BELEIVE IN CHRIST ARE THE TEMPLE OF GOD. So the abomination of desolation written by Daniel will be in God's temple that is YOU AND ME. Mark even though I do disagree in some points I still love your work. Thank you and God bless

In 2020 I asked God in absolute faith about Revelation 17:10-11 and was answered. Obama is the 8th He will do Daniel 11:21 and on because it is him. Because of what happened in 2020 saying what would happen to my mum and dad with words that where not my own that they would not last the 1st lockdown and then have it happen because I had things like this happen all my life I was in a place of brokenness and had a contrite heart and asked about Revelation 17:10-11 the Holy Spirit answered and gave the understanding that this was the same as Daniel 11:19-21. Long story short Obama will use what happens to Biden to get back in power. This is not my opinion my thought where not this but I put self to the side and asked in faith like we are told to do and I received to my shock. If you have a waring you must warn. There is no pride in this I don't get pleasure out of this but when you where warned what is coming you must warn. Mark, sorry to hear you are not believing in the pre-trib rapture anymore! You also mentioned the true rapture at the end of Jesus return , my goodness who or what has changed your mind! By the way the pre-trib is in the scriptures but it is indeed a mystery as Paul has said it! I cannot wait to hear of the second half of the tribulation period! I must tell you , of what I have read in revelation I don’t want to be on earth while hell is breaking loose on earth with most of the fallen angels and demons and Satan himself openly on earth . Most of the saints will loose their head not only figuratively speaking, but also literally! And I am not even mentioning the wrath of God man o man. But the CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST will be in heaven! IN PARTICULARLY THE CHURCH OF PHILADELPHIA ACCORDING TO THE KING OF kings AND LORD OF lords! By the way I was not the thumbs down person, I gave it a thumbs up!

@@charlesphall7802 Why do you feel sorry for him, the apostle Paul told us himself and also Jesus said it in Revelation the Church of Philadelphia will not go through the tribulation period. But you all still don't want to see it, so go and "enjoy" the tribulation period. Mark, thank you for this class. Of course there are others teaching other ideas, but I like your presentation and agree with the section on the rapture. From what I have seen there seems to be confusion about "some prophecies are for the Jews and some are for the church." The pre-tribulation people seem also not to be able to differentiate the tribulation period from the wrath. But since they believe they are going to get raptured before hand, it would tend to make them less concerned about the details of the tribulation period, I would assume. Anyway, thanks, Mark. How about a separate video just on the pre- tribulation / post tribulation rapture controversy.

I do care for those who will go through the tribulation period while looking at my love ones because most of them will not make it. Even myself have to be careful and have to fill my lamp and vessel daily with oil else I will miss the wedding and will go through the tribulation period also. So we are all not sure of it and must stay daily in the scriptures because faith cometh by hearing , hearing of the word of God.
