His first shift as a Komet I was in section 207 and I gasped and immediately stood up and clapped! The crowd was bowing to him! Like we love #17 this is what we need

I have literally ran into Amesbury at two consecutive events at the Coliseum. This dude is a man of the people. Always down for a pic even if he has his kids or lady with him. The Jungle loves him. Him just being out and about and being a chill dude makes him one of the most famous guys in the Fort man. Love the pod, and thanks for being so active in the community Diamond Hands!

I've been going to Komets games since the 1950s and Ames first game made my top 5 all time greatest Komets memories. I have never seen a new player become so popular so fast...he is loved in Fort Wayne.

This is my 40th year. It pisses me off how Ames goes out there and has an awesome shift and still only gets 2 or 3 shifts. I'm pretty sure if the coach had any clue he would just tell him to go out and hit. No stupid shit just hit. I'd guess he would do that and get more ice time. I've seen some pretty tough dudes in my time. Kevin Kaminski Robin Bawa Mike Butters to name a few. Only recent guy I would compare Amsey to would be Kyle Haas. Definately would love to see him back but if I were him I would demand in the beginning more ice time. If coach isn't gonna let him play go where u can play

I love AJ's Jersey! I planned on seeing all the guys at the end of the season jersey auction. God had other plans for me that night.

I live in Panthers country in sunny South FLA but originally from Indy where I grew up and a BHawks fan, so you would assume I’d be a Fuel fan, and though I don’t root against them, it’s only when they aren’t playing our Komets up in Ft. Wayne. Our states oldest Hockey program.💪 Will always have respect for the boys up in northeast Indiana. Indy has been all over the place for years, then Evansville got a team, the Icemen, but they play down here now up in JVille Florida. Well point being all my friends up in Indiana absolutely love having Amesbury up there. You sparked something in the team and city Ames. Was so stoked when they grabbed you. I am 4 years older then AJ and to see you at 33 still out there making a difference is the best. Us old farts are living through you now dude. I was going to fly up to watch you play but unfortunately broke my ankle that required surgery. 7 screws and a plate. Yea my beer league days are over, but I will make it there for a home game. I almost took a job with the city that was offered to me and I came very close to taking it but the pay still wasn’t good enough to leave the sun and palm trees, but I will visit next season most definitely while up there visiting family and hope you stay up there.💪🏒

I think we need to talk about David Clarkson on the New Jersey Devils Devils. He wasn’t the biggest guy, but he handled himself and he changed the pace of every game. He came up and played as a low level enforcer. He ended up with a 40 goal season I believe in his last year here in Nj. That’s when our team was golden. Good encouraging example for Ames at what he can possibly develop into semi-offensively. Love you guys!

Man Clarkson definitely was a gritty tough player !

I’m not sure it will happen but I’d love to see Amesbury come back, and if he does come back I hope he’s allowed to play more. His play time was kind of pitiful this year and I blame the coach on that one.
