19:42 Explain how a guy can have that kind of start to a career but it doesn't equal wins? Coaching, O-line, defense, etc. have all been serious issues until this year and it's only Harbaugh's first season. Have to look at the context. Look at Joe Burrow this season; amazing stats, team isn't good.
@christopherhaynes81015 сағат бұрын
Actually it’s pretty common. There’s a gap between willing a team to win talent and great quarterback talent. There’s only a few guys that can drag their teams. Herbert needs more help to unlock his talent and always needed better coaching
@corynuckels40565 сағат бұрын
@ I'm not denying that a QB plays a very big role in a team being able to win. If you took Mahomes off the Chiefs, they'd really struggle. If you took Lamar off the Ravens, they'd struggle as well. I just think there are some QB's that are undeniably very talented, but have had more inconsistent coaching, defense, overall team structure etc. than others. I don't think it's as simple as "well he doesn't win games." Again, look at the records Herbert is setting/on pace to set. If he was putting up those same numbers/records but had Andy Reid, Travis Kelce, and Tyreek Hill all in their primes you'd have virtually the same results. I'm not saying he's as good as Mahomes, because Pat has earned everything he's achieved, but I don't think Pat's the only QB capable of achieving what he has with those weapons/coaching.

I’m very confident with people’s takes with Herbert career “not being up to what it should be” and pinning on him fully believe: - Lynn and Staley are Super Bowl winning capable head coaches, despite no one else believing them to be anything more then an assistant, and have made terrible calls that cost the Chargers games (definitely Staley). - The rest of the team hasn’t been fully committed in previous years to playing at their best (proof there is how the team played with Stick last season after they sacked Staley). - That playing with these scraps on offense, where even these 3 same “sports analysts” talk down on the receiving core, is also a Super Bowl-capable offense that Herbert is letting down, despite all but 1 WR being actually capable of constantly catching, when the OC calls for constant running plays with a terrible RB room, and the only capable TE is Smartt. Any QB with a bad offense is either vying for the best draft pick they can, or you’re lying to yourself and everyone else, because that offense is actually decent. Mahomes nor Brady couldn’t do anything better with this offense, with that stupid run first scheme.

@ would you rather play on the road in the first round or at home? It’s a dumb take. A win gets them closer to the division title

I don't even care about American sports anymore, yet I cannot enjoy watching your show more. Best sports show or any show with people sitting down and arguing on TV/Internet, never break up please.

lamar has played bad against the steelers historically but maybe one of the best games of his career was his game against the steelers last year. problem is the recievrrs dropped everything

Nick has to crush every great player that is any threat to his favorites. It’s the flaw in his analysis. He gives great opinions on just about everything except anyone that has any level of threat to his favorites. Nick Bayless and it will only get worse

If Lamar was the same skin color as Josh Allen he’d get all the praise in the world. Instead he’s a 2x UNANIMOUS mvp and gets disrespected every week. I’m a birds 🦅 fan and have seen that his whole career.
@JamesGoodwin-vr9on3 сағат бұрын
If Lamar was the same skin color as Allen he’d still be the 2nd best QB. I’m guessing lack of football knowledge leads you to that assumption. Be smarter.
@matthewalexander65923 сағат бұрын
@ exactly so you said he’s the second best qb now then why are they disrespecting him every week like he’s a scrub? You should really look into what you said and apply it to yourself before you go around looking stupid.
@JamesGoodwin-vr9on3 сағат бұрын
lol hey Clownshow. They say he’s the 2nd best QB every week other than the Mahomes bias that obviously you take seriously.( Condolences) Like I said chump, learn a thing or two.
@matthewalexander65923 сағат бұрын
@ no they don’t he literally gets disrespected every week on multiple media platforms 😂
@JamesGoodwin-vr9on3 сағат бұрын
Anyone watching football this year knows that he’s been the 2nd best QB. If you are that adamant that he’s the best, so be it. No skin off my back but to start bringing race into the equation is lazy and dangerous. I just stated that you should be better than that. Happy holidays.

If Herbert was on the Chiefs he'd do just as good as Mahomes. Especially the Mahomes of the last 2 years. You don't think Herbert wants a Travis Kelce and a bunch of fast receivers that can create separation in a creative Andy Reid offense... he's had late stage Keenan Allen who was hurt and injured Mike Williams. Just enough name recognition for people to blame the QB when it doesn't work. Not to mention the run game never works in big spots. It's always Herbert in a 3rd and 8 gotta have it throw with some middling receivers. Ladd is gonna be good but that's 1 guy.

Matt Stafford is the perfect example in Why wins for a quarterback are the best stat because that guy threw four like 50,000 yd while he was a lion and nobody gave him any credit for being a good quarterback until he started winning in La

If Lamar plays great, the Ravens beat the Steelers. The Steelers have to keep the Ravens under 21 points in order to win.
