I know some actors are embarrassed by some of their earlier works but I don't think I'd ever seen someone trying to hide from it. That was so funny. His accent is...I'm not real sure, it sounded almost like a mix of 2 or more. He has a very nice voice.

He deserves it...all! Gosh, if there is someone its him! After all these years of hard work he deserves it so fucking much! Ha, the funny thing is for about a decade or what he had been pretty popular in Germany (and also Spain by the way since he's half Spanish) and done a number of real good movies! He might be the one catching all the rare good parts in German filmmaking these days^^ Said story... Well however, the more he gained international attention with his acting brilliance, the less he got discussed in Germany. Sure you here about him when you really follow and focus on him as a fan here, but not that he gets any kind of these silly "best international actor Bambi or any kind of recognition from his fellow countrymen... Instead of celebrating him I've got the impression he's the one everybody in the branche has to ignore now, since he's got what all the other (mostly) B-Promis can not even dream of- and he's still modest and sympathic. The dimension of greed and despair... Anyway, go for it Daniel! You're fantastic, I love you, Kid!!

Yop, but he lived in Germany for a long time, also he started to act there (watch Goodbye Lenin or The Educators - European movies can be good :)) And I guess it is easier for you to learn new languages when you have 2 or more mother languages :) And yop, I agree with you, Spanish people aren't usually good at learning languages, I was there and I can really confirm that :)

I'm trying to watch his entire filmography, but so little time :( I wish I could marry a foreigner man so my children would be raised bicultural and be like Daniel.
