Usman hasn't used his wrestling offense as much as he used to do because Trevor Wittman made him more of a striker. And Edwards always had a good takedown defense, which got better with time.

I've had my issues with Bisping going company man but Edwards landed so many strikes, was wobbling Usman with the knee to the head, nearly put him on the floor with the kick to the body, sweeped him to the ground with the leg kick, was stuffing his takedowns. I think the surgeries and injuries have taken a tole on Usman. He's done, i can see him retiring after this one. The division is interesting right now, because as much hate Colby gets, he would probably be favourite against Edwards, as Colbys output is way more than others and has great wrestling. Belal also deserves a chance aswell.

It was definitely a close fight and I was rooting for Usman to beat/dominate Leon and regain the title by decision, but Leon hands down has beaten Usman in this trilogy matchup, landing the more significant and damaging shots and showed good takedown and wrestling defense and ability to quickly scramble back up when taken down
