I’ve heard him speaking such a convincing British English accent for so long that this almost feels that THIS is a fake accent.

Pat Rick You are a moron. It would of took you two seconds to look up he was born and raised in Arkansas. Google is powerful, learn to use it. Also if you must make a ass out of yourself learn how to type. Your sentence is like me saying I'm part American raised in America but I'm part Irish so for some reason I have a mixed accent. Fucking hieroglyphic like writing only rereading a couple times can be understood.

Wow. Your life is so boring that you take time in commenting on a subject that was from a year ago? And if I didn't know how to use Google, then how would I have made this account? Also, my friend is from America, but he's British, so that could be possible. Please be nice before commenting. The media is already filled with mean hypocrites (like you) so we do not need another one. Get lost, kid. :)Lia Lee

@alking76554 жыл бұрын
@Jerseygirlgm, you can actually notice it in an episode of season 6 of "The Nanny." It's in a scene where he mentions CC being in shorts in the desert. The irony is, many thought it was Charles who was putting on the accent and the aristocrat. The aristocratic title Charles does actually hold, I believe a marque, I'm not sure which county.

Wow... his accent is glorious.. You hear every letter too.. but ya, i legit am so not used to this.. I keep expecting an English accent hahah
@allies71847 жыл бұрын
It seems most Americans can't do a good British accent. However, I have found those from places like Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Oklahoma, etc have a special lift to their voices which makes an accent more plausible. Another example of this is the actor Lee Pace who plays king Thranduil in the Hobbit. He's from Oklahoma but speaks British in the film.
@marias75994 жыл бұрын
It’s interesting that you say you can hear “every letter” in his American accent because everyone outside the United States feel you Americans don’t pronounce all the letters. And I don’t mean this as an insult 😊 I’m Latin American and I feel that British people really pronounce the letters, particularly English people. When they say “better” you can really hear the “T” in there. You guys pronounce it as “R”...beRer And I could go on Happy holidays
@DoggieFosters4 жыл бұрын
@@marias7599 I appreciate that you believe you hear 'better' as 'beRer,' but I'm confident no native English speaker does (whether AmE or BrE). When the "t" sound in the middle of words is changed in AmE, most everyone would report hearing "bedder" - like a mushy almost 'd'. You might find this article interesting --> learnersdictionary.com/qa/do-americans-pronounce-t-like-d I'm a big nerd and have always loved this stuff. Cheers! P.S. BrE often adds sounds to words, especially an "r at the end of words sike 'samba' can become 'samber' and 'idea' becomes 'idear.' Certain AmE accents/dialects do this as well, and I admit it drives me nuts. 🤣 You might really enjoy this forum and similar forum.wordreference.com/threads/pronunciation-r-added-to-words-ending-in-a-in-bre-idea-r.3310584/

There's no such thing as speaking "Better" British than someone who's actually British. There's No 1 way British people sound. It's the same with Americans who all speak differently depending on where they're from. A New Yorker sounds different from a Floridian.
