Wow you don’t realise how difficult and tedious they are to make great work by everyone involved.

When paid an amount of money which is much larger than your value, there's no such thing as tedious and demanding, like in all jobs. It's payday!

This is gold! It's interesting to see how much effort is needed to make one 25-minute episode. And it's so nice to hear the crew genuinely laughing to punchlines. :)

Take me back to those days. Notice how they enunciate and project their voices so that they can be easily heard and understood. That doesn't happen anymore. Today actors mumble and slur their words to the point one needs subtitles to understand what they are saying.

I thought so also. She's a good foil for Fran. Both women are beautiful. I always thought Fran dresher had a great figure. Wish I had it! Probably a ton of work. Lauren is really statuesque.

Thank you for this!🤗 I saw a comment in Reddit, I believe. It's interesting to see behind the scenes. I'm also intrigued because Madeline said she was "scarred" working on the show.🥺💔 Daniel alluded that Madeline was an unhappy child, and they took that vibe and wrote her character around it. But Madeline stated in interviews that other sets treated her like the child she was, and not like a prop.🙁 By the looks of it here, Fran seems very no-nonsense. Maybe Madeline was expecting to be coddled and nurtured, and the set was all business. To be fair, child actors are living in an adult world where time is money. As executive producer, Fran doesn't look like she had the time to be a "real" Nanny to Madeline or any of the other kids. She spoke to Ben like he was an adult, and I didn't detect any warmth there.🥺 But Madeline did the table reading during the pandemic, so she apparently didn't hold anything against the show long-term.. but who knows. I wish I knew how Nicole and Ben felt. Anyway, thank you for posting this and Part One!🤗❤️

thanks for your explaination I had the same feeling about Fran talking to Ben. In the first part of this behind the scenes you can also see how the person leaning next no Ben to the sofa strokes his head while Fran is saying to him "I didn't like that" (concerning his acting) That reached me so much :( I believe Fran doesn't intend to be mean but she threats him like an adult actor somehow (as you explained Madeleines view) That man just cushions him immediatly 💛

I guess the other thing to keep in mind too is that at this point, the show is still very very new. The cast (assumably/hopefully!) bonded very well over the following 5-6 years

@badrymmc 10 ай бұрын
Hi @martinodendaal1703, there's no audience yet because they were doing what they call camera blocking, which is a rehearsal before the official shooting of the episode with an audience. Cheers!
@lennypearl
@lennypearl 10 ай бұрын
Camera blocking is a form of rehearsal so that the crew knows what, where and when the director wants them to shoot before official taping with an audience. But you could hear the crew giggle at the parts that were supposed to get an audience laugh 😉
