I love the flashbacks of the 1984 movies when life was just simpler

Those flashbacks always make me feel warm and fuzzy. But the ones with Mr. Miyagi make me tear up like a baby. The one where Johnny sees Tommy in the hospital sick and then has the flashback of him on his bike with Tommy and Bobby hit so hard. You see how happier they were as teenagers and then you seen Tommy sick, bald, weak and on death’s door.

They made a better movie than they intended to. Johnny was never a 2-dimensional villain. You can watch the original movie and easily see how Daniel stole his girl and wouldn’t let things go. Even in the first fight on the beach Johnny only kept hitting him because Daniel kept swinging at him.

This was the dialog exchange regarding that! ☝️☝️☝️☝️ Ali got tired of watching Johnny be an asshole towards everyone and wanting to beat everyone up Even after the beach fight, Ali screamed at Johnny: DO YOU EVER THINK ITS YOUR FAULT? WHY DO YA HAVE TO FIGHT HUH?!?! Daniel didn't steal anything, Ali was free game and apparently available and Daniel juat happen to step in, after she asked him. how to juggle a soccer ball. Plus, her and Daniel had been eyeing each other on the beach all day and into the night. Fact is, Johnny couldn't handle Ali breaking up with him and the first few Seasons of CK showed just how emotionally unstable Johnny actually was in the aftermath of his own wrecked marriage!
