+txpate2009 I use the term "riced out" to describe any stock vehicle with fake hood vents, loud/fake exhaust, body kit, and any exterior trim pieces that serve no other purpose other than to look seemingly cool just like a riced out Honda Civic. This and some of other vehicles in the movie look ridiculous in my opinion. It kind of defeats the purpose disguising yourself as a truck if you're going to look this outlandish. But ,like you said, the kids love it which is probably what they were going for. Gotta sell that merchandise after all. I much prefer the more practical looking vehicles in the first movie.

Not a bad looking truck. Some people seems to think this guy is being arrogant an complaining alot I think it's just his accent combined with him explaining the work that goes into hauling an taking care of the show piece he's most likely fully responsible for. Should've used a 1980s Western Star 4964 with a Detroit 60 series engine, instead of this gussied up Volvo lookin' thing that undoubtedly makes a woefully inadequate amount of noise. Great video, tho. :)

The first Optimus Prime Pete is way better in my opinion but if you're a eighties baby like me the real original Optimus was a white cabover frieightliner and I do believe I still have the toy truck that transformed my dad bought me somewhere in my basement lol

Original Optimus was a red cabover with gray (or silver) stripe. The white cabover is Ultra Magnus. I had one when I was kid. He had trailer that looked like a car carrier trailer and both combined to make big bot.
