Danny is one of my absolute favorite free runners. Slowing down his movement really shows off how precise and smooth his technique is. He is inspirational.

Loved the feeling that the video gave all along. My favourite part is at 3:06 where Daniel is not only doing a Kong to precisión on a wall, there are also barbed wires. For me that scene can have so many meanings and messages... for example : the physical obstacle is not the only obstacle you have to face when you train parkour, your mind can always set barbed wires where they shouldn't be... Train hard and overcome with love whatever you do... Thanks for this video, it's so nice to see some more clips from Danny after such a long time.

Daniel is a master in multiple disciplines, that must give him an awesome freedom of liberty and awareness of his body, and streght too. Bruce Lee says in his 1971 interview how important is to learn new arts along the way, don't get stuck with one thing. I always saw Daniel as not belonging to one group, like that guy segregated and closed with old folks not training with other guys. People want to have him visiting, I couldn't possibly mention how many would make a party just to know he would be in the city and willing to talk and share. And more, the internet helps us to see those values and to learn what Parkour/Free Running is really all about. Thanks for this valuable piece of art.

I am in complete awe of the harmony between music and cinematography that you masterfully captured in this video. Perfect symmetry. I felt so many calming emotions and as the film progressed and the music heightened I felt a warm blanket sweep over my body as the goose bumps emerged and the hair on my arms stood straight up. Thank you!

@BeyondSlowMotion10 жыл бұрын
Haha No big movies yet. Although my videos have hopped up on a bunch of various TV shows. Oh! and I got to guest host a Japanese TV show once! lol They had me slap their host repeatedly in the face with fire like in my "Fire Struck" video. The whole week was basically just me pulling pranks on this dude in slow motion. Gotta love Japan! :)
@likedatitbe10 жыл бұрын
Dude, the angles you shot from were great. The shot straight up through the dark interior of the building of the beautiful blue sky and clouds was amazing. The light dancing on the water as Daniel walked through it one of my favorite shots in the video. Did you plan those shots out? Or do you just get to a location and work based on intuition? Do you have any links of footage from the Japanese show you co-hosted? That experience must have been a blast! Lol Thanks again for sharing awesome videos with us. After watching this video and the one with the guy and his dog doing stunts especially, I felt the same way I do after coming out of a movie theater. Positive vibes.

Eduardo Dominguez No shit... I'd like to hear an answer to this too. The plane flying just ahead of him was fucking beautiful, whether rehearsed or not. Him framed by the barbed wire hoop. His legs framing the sun. etc...

Very entertaining guys. The lighting and back lit shots were very artistic and played well with the slow-mo. Thank you very much. I was just wondering how it would all look if it was cropped to cinematic scale? Thanks again.
@BeyondSlowMotion10 жыл бұрын
Glad you enjoyed it! :) I appreciate you guys coming back to enjoy these videos. It does mean a lot to have such a supportive audience. What is funny is we never used any sort of reflector or extra lighting of any sort in the video. A lot of it just involved getting to the locations where the lighting and environment fit the vibes of the movement and tone of the project. Concerning the cropping idea, I can tell you that it would only look all that much better if I had actually shot for anamorphic framing. A lot of the angles we caught in this video are framed fairly tediously and for widescreen a lot of key shots would need to have been shot wider to account for the framing difference.
