she missed a LOT of cues/leads... if you look at the dance critically you'll see her follow is uncertain, and slow sometimes, he covers it up well. At those moments, you can also tell by her face she knows she messed up. It takes a bachatero to see it apparently, judging from the comments. As an example, a particularly embarrassing one is at 4:29, where she completely misses the lead and staggers through it, instead of keeping her feet together. At a few other places, you can also see Daniel pulling the punch where he realizes she does not get the lead/what he's trying to make her do, and improvises and stops his signature moves halfway and simplifies them. But yes, Daniel is so amazing, he makes any girl look good... :)

I Like Beans I think it takes a bachatero that ACTUALLY AND ACTIVELY socially dances to realize whether it's in leading or following being able to catch almost all cues or give them accurately is impressive especially when bachata is not their specialty. The only stumble I noticed was at 4:29 which happens but both are incredible dancers and in my opinion (not a professional as I'm sure you are not either) it was a spectacular dance (:

yeah, the stumble was pretty obvious. The other missed cues are more subtle, which accounts for your not noticing them, even if Isabel did. I bet if i hadn't pointed out the stumble, you wouldn't have noticed it either, misconstruing it as part of the "spectacular dance". Daniel is amazing and courteous in the dance (and always), but if you want to see a spectacular dance, watch one of him dancing with a bachatera. ****She's an amazing dancer, and i'd love to dance with her any day, bachata or salsa, but she's not on thesame level as Daniel, bachata-wise. Personally, i prefer watching his other videos where he doesn't hold back/pull his punches.

I Like Beans I noticed the stumble long before you said anything not that it was substantial enough to even remember but I did see it. All the other "missed cues" looked to me like 2 people adjusting to eachothers styles of dance while in the moment which i say again if you are ACTIVELY a social dancer you understand this is common and you admire the fact that the dance looked well improvised off BOTH of their ends whether it was when she didn't catch a cue or when he didn't execute a lead strongly. I've seen plenty of both of their videos dancing with others which Is why I made the comment on them being able to dance well together in bachata. Point is I stand by my initial comment and you're free to comment your opinion on the video as well (: Have a great day.

I think i've watched this clip over a thousand times, I learned so much from this video, Daniel is so technical and at the same time smooth and Isabel is the kind of perfect lady to dance with. This video is the bible for any guy that wants to learn how to dance at top level in social, is such a shame that now Daniel and Desiree are too much into sensual that is almost impossible to dance social.

@@humanyoda they have different styles...I think this is more fusion while Ataca is more moderna...Ataca's style is more elegant, Daniel's style is more sensual and sexual. No need to bash Ataca's style especially since you can never match his skills.
