Exactly! Fans have forgotten what happened after the Cardinals game last year.

@@DennisNieves-j7r But the Browns actually have a top defense

I was an OC for a couple seasons at the semi-pro level an my philosophy to my QBs and WRs anytime you get your WR 1 on 1 on the outside with no Safety over the top you take the shot. Especially when your accross the 50. I love the aggressiveness on that throw. I also pointed out you can see in the replay Nabers was on his way down from his jump as the ball arrived had Nabers timed it up a bit better and been at the apex of his jump when the ball arrives the DB wouldn't have even sniffed the ball. No chance the pass gets picked if the ball is there at the apex of the jump. Nabers is just such a great athlete that he was still able to make a great play.

he is indeed a special athlete. love the insight from an OC thanks for sharing! that mentality seems to be working for the Giants right now

Leek is athletic enough to reel in all of DJ's inaccurate passes. There's a difference.

Nice job of breaking it down, I loved effort from Big Blue. Now let's play a competitive game against the cowboys.

Nabs is saving DJ's job. And Daboll's.

I could cry the offense was beautiful in this first half, especially after that start with the fumble and touchdown from Deshaun Watson of all QB’s, I’m just so happy with this game can’t wait for Thursday

Different players but the best Giant receiver catching the contested ball was Plaxico from Eli. He'd even throw it into double coverage where if he threw it right Plaxico would beat the other defender. Nabers has the ability to be covered and still win the battle which is huge. The better he does the more things will open and Daboll will find ways to exploit. Thursday is big and hoping they come through with all three facets for once.

I love that end around but my mind starts looking at wrinkles off of that play such as fake that end around going one way and then pitch to Singletary going the other when the defense is flowing in the direction Nabers is moving. Or use that end around as playaction run a flood concept in front of it and have the backside WR run a flag route as the only WR on that side of the ball. If run right you get the WR 1 on 1 deep down the field. If you WR runs the route correctly and gets the DB on his back he would be running from the numbers toward the sideline with no defenders in front of him. Giving the QB an easy throw to the sideline that the WR can go get and give you a big play. Seeing wrinkles added to plays like this when you know the defense is thinking and worried about the ability of the guy you send in motion. designing multiple plays out of the same motion get the defense going one way and go the other. It keeps the defense guessing and slows the entire defense helping the OL. you get the LBs and DL flowing to the RT and then run the ball to the LT all the OL needs to do is just let the defense flow RT and then get in the way as they try to get back to create huge running lanes that is what good offenses do.

lol 😂 Nabers is actually a Leo ♌️ July 28th DJ is a Gemini ♊️
@markgruner5812Ай бұрын
That's definitely the main difference I'm seeing here. DJ would have never made that throw to another receiver in coverage till now. I'm still firmly on the "DJ is the bridge QB" bandwagon, but Nabers will make watching these games a lot more fun at least. The main fear is winning too any games to be able to get THE QB we need eventually, though with Washington getting better now who knows, that's already one win gone we normally were guaranteed in previous years.
@markgruner5812Ай бұрын
I'm still wondering wtf the Browns were thinking leaving Nabers in single coverage and that not using Ward on him.

It’s funny how DJ supporters were missing and those on the edge jumped off the wagon, but he plays one half of decent football and here comes the DJ is our future supporters lol 😂 let’s see Thursday

blah,blah,blah. just like manning and obj. how many playoff wins did that get us? a predictable loss to dallas and the giants are back on another lost season. nabors might be special but jones is not.
