My son passed this interview on to me, and I was gobsmacked. A great discussion of several topics by Daniel Kahneman -- decision making, happiness, satisfaction, negotiation, a nod to Pascal, a dig at Ray Dalio, and much to do about intuition. At the end, I was singing the words to Paul Simon's song, Feeling Groovy. The learning goes on...

this is how podcasts should be ideally, no video feed just the audio so that the entire focus is on listening

Delay your intuition by focus on a simple aspect of the problem

Kahneman say's if a person starts negotiation with an absurd number , make a scene and say that you wont start conversation with that number but further along the interview when he talks about slowing down and understanding the other party and find out how you can make it easy for them to move in your direction, both seem very contradictory points. Got me confused
