I'm very impressed with the change of fingers from 4 to 5 in the octaves, as well as the Horowitz additions towards the end but, for me (and I've played this 100's of times so for all of you out there don't say 'can you do it better'!!) a bit slapdash. Don't get me wrong - Daniel is a remarkable pianist and I can't wait to see what he does next

I wasn't being harsh (I hope!!!). Just watching the Louis Vuitton recital and it's astonishing. The best young pianist to take over the mantle of Horowitz, Richter and Gilels, along with Alex Kantorow and Jan Lisiecki

I wonder is there any way to contact M. Kharitonov. I'd love to talk to him about my friendship with Horowitz, my tutoring by Bernstein, Craig Sheppard and Ivo Pogorelich, and my admiration for Argerich, Richter etc. Do I have to go through his agent? I've requested him as a friend on Facebook and follow him on Twitter but so far no response

@@petergolding5733 I'd really like to hear one of your 100's times. Just to see if this is, at least, equally good. As for Daniel Kharitonov's interpretation, I'm impressed with the dexterity but I stick to Horowitz's rendition for it is much more clearer. Of course, I'm not being judgmental because I genuinely think that Horowitz is unmatchable.
