i'm glad you let your kids know about your challenges cause if they ever get depression or any other mental issue they will understand it and know what to do to help it they won't be scared of it and not know what to do plus there brother being disabled helps to if they ever have a kid someday and it's disabled they will know how to handle it.

What a lovely sight to see Daniel absolutely elated with his birthday balloons. I love balloons too.There is something peaceful about them.Yes depression is not a nice thing to experience and a lot of the times it's how we think. But then again there are some out there who do require medication, as sometimes it is a chemical imbalance. At least you have an idea about depression and so you can help others with it. Often there is no accident that we are burdened with such things, but I think it's about helping others through what you have experienced. I read somewhere that what we think about manifest in our behaviour. When I get depressed I will immediately think about what I have been thinking about. The bible says to think on good and pleasing things, and you have to make a conscious effort to fight it through God's strength and not yours. God bless:-)
