Daniel Lozakovich, born in 2001, is the youngest musician currently signed to Deutsche Grammophon. Despite his young age, the violinist is praised by audiences and critics alike for his mesmerizingly brilliant performances. On his debut album, he takes us on a compelling journey to Bach. He presents Bach’s two Violin Concertos in collaboration with the Kammerorchester des Symphonieorchesters des Bayerischen Rundfunks and the solo Partita No. 2 with the famous Chaconne.

While Daniel may play well technically, this performance is in almost no way "Baroque style;" the only Baroque element of this performance is the harpsichord, which isn't even in Baroque tuning. Well it is Allegro moderato so ofc it wouldn't be too fast and a bit more lascivous. Still, I recommend not judging fast tempo too harshly. It may be harder to interpret but it too has its perks. Try Sicilienne and Rigaudon by Kreitzler

9.June 2023 at Lotte concert hall in Seoul I was deeply impressed by Daniel's performance. The main of the concert, Saint-Saëns No. 3, was also very good, but the two encore songs were also like jewels. The first encore song is Ysaye Sonata No. 3. The second was Tchaikovsky's emotional waltz His Ysaye sonata no.3 was perfect. His playing is getting more and more mature. I look forward to more of his future performances. His popularity at the concert hall that day was great.
