Of course that the En Sof is above any imaginable God, because God is a representation, in human imagination, of the ultimate reality - in Kabbalah it is called En Sof (without limits, without end).

Even "hyper-literally" you would need a direct-object-pointer ("et") to immediately proceed the word "elohim" if you want "elohim" to be the object, the same way "et" appears before the words "shamaiyim" and "arets" in the very same verse; but alas, "et" does not appear before the word "elohim". The only way it would work without "et" before "elohim" is if we say that "elohim" is indefinite (ie: gods), but this approach would still be irrational because even if we consider "elohim" indefinite we would still need a v- (and) to be attached to the "et" which proceeds the word shamaiyim, but the verse includes no such vav.

There is no definite article in בראשית with shewa beneath the beith (b'reshith); it would need to be bAreshith for "in THE beginning." It is more properly understood, respecting the form of the Hebrew, "When Elohim began creating the heavens and the earth, the Earth was without form and without function." Elohim certainly is the subject in the construction בראשית ברא אלהים; in order to be the direct object, as Matt contends, it would have to be in the accusative case rather than the nominative. The accusative (direct object) is signaled by the untranslatable particle את, found introducing both of the objects here: השמים (the heavens) and הערץ (the earth) in the remainder of the verse.

The mentioned understanding is incorrect. That wasn't even proposed until Rashi in the mid 1100s, and its easily disproven as an option. The entire reason it was proposed is because of the difficulties that arise with understanding the first verse. It has absolutely nothing to do with reading it, nor its grammar. That part is simple. Its the implication. Not one ancient writer understood it in that manner. Bereshit, and its location in the sentence is not in construct. Solomon didnt understand it that way, the new testament didnt, the zohar, nor mishna/talmudic commentators, the targumist, nor any writing on Genesis up until Rashi, whether commentator or midrash. It has extensive theological implications not only because of the word chosen, but the remainder of the entire chapter as well, along with its close in 2:2-3.

If you want to read it literal then see on page 1 of the good book it says "god spoke everything into existence" on the same page, it says "you are made in his image" On the next page, "you are to only eat of the plants" 2 pages later make sacrifices of blood and fats. 2 pages later, god likes a burnt offerin of blood and animal sacrifice(abel) over a tithing of fruits and vegetables(cain) (thus contradicting the previous word)

We were obviously spirits living in a physical world (consciousness) whatever the tree of good and evil made a requirement to fashion a body to house the new emerging spirit.

In Latin, there is object case (Accusative), is Hebrew the same? If noun can be put anywhere in the sentence, without case, how to identify subject and object?

This is part of the problem concerning the so-called scriptures. People read the scriptures literally there for a misty complete and I emphasize the word complete understanding of what is being...... Daniel knows exactly what he is talking about you cannot read the scriptures literally if you have eyes to see you'll see it if you don't see it at this time then it is not meant for you to see at this time. If you will continue in your journey try to understand what is not before your eyes then and only then you may be blessed to understand. There Is No Nonsense coming out of his mouth. You have no idea who Sophia is, barbelo all of the Aeons and so forth. Once you understand who these entities are again maybe your eyes will understand you cannot understand with your physical understanding and physical eyes and with a puny brain trying to capture the unknown the Unseen the ineffable. May your journey be as you intend. Shalom!

How can there be a trinity of equals if father created a son? And who exactly do Christians pray to in Church? Jesus or His Father? I am a very respectful of Christianity but I have never been able to figure it out.

In order for him to become the Mediator and ransom for all (blood atonement for sin, sins, and sinners), he needed to come down in flesh similar to men and be subject to our temptations while sinless (Matthew 4:1-11; Hebrews 5:5-10; Hebrews 4:15), and he got this nature from David's line through Mary (Matthew 1), but the seed came from the Holy Ghost (Matthew 1:20), and thus he is the Son of God and the Son of man simultaneously (John 1; Luke 3:23-38). Now the seed from the Holy Ghost that makes him the Son of God has to do with his Soul-which is the Father-and that's why the Lord Jesus Christ is 'The everlasting Father', 'The mighty God' (Isaiah 9:6). He is the IMAGE of the invisible God (Colossians 1:12-17; 2 Corinthians 4:4; Hebrews 1:1-3; Colossians 3:9-11), that is, the body of the Godhead (Colossians 2:8-9). The Lord Jesus calls himself 'I am' in John 8:58; in Colossians 1:12-20, he is explained as the Creator; the 'Word' is said to be God (John 1:1) - the capital 'Word' is the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord Jesus Christ IS God the Father (Isaiah 9:6; John 14:6-9), for the Father is his Soul, of which Jesus Christ said 'dwelleth in me,' and 'doeth the works.' (John 14:10-11). God the Father = Soul The only begotten Son = Body The Holy Ghost = Spirit Man, being made in the similitude or likeness of God, also has a body, a soul, and a spirit (and the soul is the person). Colossians 2:8-9 KJB 8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
