Fun history! At 19:10 the announcer mentions "At least Daniel has kept the wrapper on his sandwich, we've seen issues with guys eating hot wings and things like that..." What he's talking about is actually the entire reason sandwiches were invented in the first place! A long time ago, there was a royal who loved playing cards but found that when he tried to eat meat, his fingers would get all greasy and ruin the cards. His solution? Put the meat between two slices of bread! That man was the Earl of Sandwich. That's actually a true story!

thats surprising with her quasi cheating scandal. i don't blame her for her actions (expectations of soft play against her) in that situation but high stakes poker players have the highest of high integrity standards.

So, first time watching one of these, but, the production seems REAL weird to me. Coming from a production and broadcast background. Commentators barely covering the action, doesn't seem to be much in the way of audio mixing, and the random person/people trying to be part of the conversation off camera and not micd. So, it just sounds like a muffled yell off cam. I get it seems the live chat enjoys the table talk. That has always been nice. But, is there not a healthy balance of calling and table audio? Especially when it seems like its rough for the CG engineer(s) to keep up with the action. It seems like a fun production to direct and punch though.

Some of these players are "scared" of Negreanu. rather play their strategies. I believe they watch how Negreanu play his first two cards. Then fold although their hand is "playable", if Negreanu check or call or bet. If Negreanu fold, then they play their two cards. Don't get me wrong. This is done by lesser known players if they are playing against the "superstars" of poker..That's why these "superstars" of poker always have their way against the lesser known players.
