Just this past Saturday night I was at the show and they held an auction after the curtain call. The prize was a page of typing paper that both Daniel and Jonathan had typed on onstage during the show. I very confidently got the bidding going at $100 from the balcony, but it very quickly got out of my price range and I was eventually outbid by Neil Patrick Harris who happened to be at the show that night. He paid $3,000. Just another night on Broadway.

Been a Daniel fan forever for obvious reasons *insert dans childhood acting here* been a fan of Groff since I started watching Glee and then heard him in Spring Awakening 8 years ago and was like this man is insane and LINDSAY OMG when I heard her in Dogfight she was so so good! These three are so radiant in this video and I’m seeing the show in December. It was all I asked for for my bday , which was last month and we bought tickets in June😂 my mom keeps forgetting the name of the musical because she’d never heard of it before this and I’ll randomly get texts saying “what are we seeing in New York? I mean, at least there is a proshot of the Menier Chocolate Factory production that was directed by Maria Friedman, the same director for the current production (which looks similar remarkably to the one in the proshot.) Though it doesn’t have the same cast of people and it’s still sad we can’t afford the Broadway show, I would still encourage you to watch a production regardless because the book, lyrics, and music of the show is pretty great notwithstanding and it generally looks similar to the show on Broadway. And we can imagine Radcliffe, Mendez, and Groff if we want to…
