What I love about him is that, different from a lot of other popular figures, he doesn't just hug the people expecting them to hug him back, he considers that some people might be uncomfortable with that, he lets them hug him but doesn't make them feel forced to hug him.

Sort of met him once (I was in a crowd of people wanting to take a pic with him at his walk of fame ceremony) and I asked as politely as I could without screaming over people and he just instantly said “Of course!!” And he helped get my phone set up. Daniel is so underrated, not to mention he is incredibly polite and well behaved, a gentleman, and he respects ppl, fans and otherwise, and talks to them in a nice way, understanding what a big icon his harry potter role is for millions of ppl worldwide. imagine if YOU grew up like him, with paparazies and fans in that madness, and see if u can imagine how u would have come out like. Most famous ppl get snobbish, rude and high on themselves, a few ppl like Daniel isnt like that. He has had a great crowd around him when growing up to help him out with these things and to remind him to stay human and respectful!
