Fantastic ...... just fantastic! Daniel shouldn't have left but he is doing so so well now! The person crying is Lewis and i believe if i remember right he was in the singoff with Daniel. Its an emotional time for them all as its the time of make or break for them. Lewis came so close to having his dream smashed and loosing out on the career of a lifetime. Watch some of the other videos to see more of the competition.

so this episode has yet to air in the US. yes, we are 2 years behind. but i found a clip where Lloyd Weber said something about how he didn't feel that Daniel was going to be a west end star... did I hear him wrong? This man is going to be a big star... Look at where he is now, after leaving this show, 2 years later. he's recording a CD, he's in Avenue Q, and he is being recognized and loved by many. I am POSITIVE that he will have a career in the west end for many many many years to come!

Bearing in mind that I actually adore Daniel's voice and am a big fan, what are all the other wannabe Joseph's doing now? Any of them in panto every year and in the process of doing a 2nd album as well as numerous caberets and even interviews in Gay Times? I think not. Daniel did so well out of this competition. He should be proud of himself for entering and making such a big name for himself in the theatre world since :) x

Bring Him Home needs a stong and deep voice. His voice was very strong and excellent. I do not understand why Andrew Lloyd Webber did not choose him for the winner. Maybe that is why he cannot make a big world-wide hit after his divorce with Sarah Brightman. I have seen many musicals in West End and Broadways and I really think he will be a great musical actor like Micheal Ball. He should play "Raoul" from the Phantom of the Opera.

@uncleangus the premise of the show was to reinvent Joseph, as ALW said at the very beginning of the show... somebody different... unfortunately, Lee wasn't very different... but it is all about the look... why put it up for the people to vote, if ALW is just gonna do it all himself... either way, they both have wonderful careers now, and though I don't like the outcome of this show, I still think it all worked out for the better...

Daniel is fantastic and I absolutely love him here and his music, but he wasn't right for the role of Joseph. John Barrowman talks about it in his book that he thought Daniel was too mature for the role.

he was my favourite... but looking back he's kinda more range than substance... like he can do those high high notes... but the tone isn't quite... comfortable or pleasant to listen to. Maybe he could work on richening up his voice a bit.

@CrudelyAnimated To be completley honest I do agree that Daniel was better than Lewis in this sing off. However Daniel was always fighting an uphill battle with this show simply bcuase he was in no way suited to the role of offer. I've seen him in Avenue Q and he was great but he really wouldn;t have worked as Joseph despite his considerable tallent. Thats all there is to it in my opinion.

I don’t think they should say “I’m shocked I’m out.” It doesn’t show good sportsmanship or acceptance that the public have specific things they’re looking for. He was very good but no match for Lee
