I wish they asked him more about that’s life :( that’s one of my favorite videos of all time I used to watch it at like 10-11 years old and be so hyped. Daniel and Corey duffel were my favsss. That era of foundation is one of my fav eras of any skate team ever

I remember buying Foundation's Art Bars VHS, From my local skate shop in 2001. Once i finished watching it, I gathered my homies to go skate our local school. And i was trying to emulate Daniel Shimizu, Justin Strubing, Kris Markovich & Ethan Fowler. Haha, Man those were the days. Shout out to all the 80's babies that got to witness the late 90's & early 2000's golden age of skateboarding

I was the one who worked at Dennisons bike shop and kinda sponsored Daniel. I skated with Daniel plenty of times to know he was gonna go pro. He's one of the nicest dudes you'll ever meet but a straight KILLER on his board. Glad to know I can still go and see him, play some games and drink some beers. Congratulations on your success Daniel.

On mine he wrote "Daniel Shimizu has never had a cheerleader gf" was v funny. I also got Dylan Rieders autograph.
