Thanks for uploading this! Well done to the interviewer who asked questions that weren’t vanilla and she pushed him to answer them. Great chat

This album made me learn guitar when I was a freshman. My first major guitar purchase after starting on a cheap samick electric was a sunburst MIJ strat. My soccer coach sold me his 1996 50th anniversary 1962 reissue. Coincidentally John's main guitar is a 1962 strat.

I was at that ‘98 Tibetan Freedom Concert at RFK! Beastie Boys played then Pearl Jam was supposed to be the last act…they left for the encore and I heard the bass all of a sudden come alive and then there they were, started playing Give it Away and the place went berserk!!! I can see it now, something so vivid I can smell it! What a moment.

What I'd give for Chad to do commentaries like this on all of the band's albums! Such a great listen! Thanks for sharing this! 😃

Chad Smith is a monster behind the kit. As soon as he sits down on the stool you can see him come alive. He's very animated and fun to watch with a funky touch.

I still think "Stadium Arcadium" is their masterpiece! It is a double CD album with ZERO bad songs!

Agreed, their white album or black album for sure. Though the next album after the last two will likely be their best they’ll have.

BSSM, californication and mothers milk are far superior albums even though stadium is good

The metal concert that chad is thinking, is the 1991 metallica concert, that pantera also play and ac dc i think
@southport653 күн бұрын
that pantera set was unbelievable, metallica too... some of those visuals are epic!!! helicopters flying, soldiers, legions of humans... unreal!

Los subtítulos tienen varios errores. Es mejor hacerlos manualmente porque se equivocan en varias palabras, una de ellas (son más) es en 6:39. Porque Chad dice "Anthony y/o Flea"

Great things to come right? Chad: well, we're proud of it, we still play these songs me: no shit, you play like 2 new songs, so great things to come or nah? You realize we have podcasts and why are you on a satellite radio show? YOu realize we have internet right??? they def. don't want me asking these softball nonsense questions.

Dude literally has no idea what songs are on his albums. Come on, RHCP get so disappointing after a bit. 5m of prep...i know these are 2nd grade questions but come on man
@starrman20393 күн бұрын
Many band members can't name specific songs on albums after so long, because they don't go back and listen to their own work. That's like saying to Kate Winslet recite a scene word for word from titanic after all these years.
@federicoresendiz36173 күн бұрын
If they’re so disappointing why are you watching? Mike Patton also has no idea what songs are in his albums, neither do Ozzy and countless others. They’re talking about a record that came out over 20 years ago. He’s over 60 years old, and they play music from all over their discography in the live shows over time. And you’re giving him shit over forgetting which songs are in which album?
@edybocman763 күн бұрын
@@federicoresendiz3617 i pretty sure mike knows
@federicoresendiz36173 күн бұрын
@ watch his interview with Eric Andre. He specifically says once he’s done with something he never goes back to it and will even completely forget about it except, likely, for playing the songs at shows.
@southport653 күн бұрын
dude is too busy looking forward, coming up with new stuff, and thriving at life to dwell on the past. who gives a fuck, he is literally in the band and contributed to the songs lol- doesn't need to obsess over his own accomplishments. quit your sour puss posts.
