Im 58. I went to my grandsons 7th birthday party on Saturday and played 18 holes of putt putt golf, bowled, and rode go carts. I had no problem keeping up. The next day, my body felt like it should be 70 years old. I was sore everywhere. It took me 4 days to get back to feeling like my 58 year old self.

I lived in the Black HILLS, SD (Lead, SD) in the mid 70’s. It was my absolute favorite summer living! The home we rented was in the middle of the mountain so your choice was to park either at the top or the bottom of the mountain and you would have to walk either up or down the staircases built on the side of the mountain. The water was soooo cold coming out of the facet that you would have to use hot water to just brush your teeth. Taking a boat out on the lakes was amazing, you could see the colors of the fish for a long ways down. It was my favorite summertime living! Mount Rushmore is a site to see! Hope y’all get to enjoy it one day! Love all our Morrow fams!!! 🥰

Chislic is usually cheaper, fattier, tougher cuts of beef, fried on a lower temp for awhile longer period of time to break down the tougher parts. Never ever have I seen pork, but I have seen venison and mutton. Best served with a good honey mustard or homemade ranch to dip. Not bad for first timers. You gained a new follower today. ❤️

Poor Lou. Easy pot roast. Find a nice sirloin roast put in crockpot cover with water stir in a pack of onion soup mix, salt & pepper. Cook slow and low. All day is best - 8hrs. You can add potatoes carrots and whatever halfway.

Hi guys 🙋🏻, I love all y’all’s videos and Dan I love that each week you have a question where everyone gets to share a little of themselves in one fashion or another ! I’m 73 but in my mind I feel like I’m in my 40’s but in my body with my medical conditions and recent diagnosis of a terminal illness with no cure only medication to help manage the pain and breathing I feel like I’m in my 80’s ! But I know the lord and am not afraid of dying , I’m only worried about leaving my son alone because he’s my only child and his father passed when my son was 18 and I had to tell him when I went to get him at college after his father passed from an injection of penicillin and died in the doctors office ! I recently had to tell him I’m dying which broke my heart for him !! I find a lot if joy watching all y’all’s videos , and I want to thank you for every video y’all put out , because I’m sure y’all bring much joy to thousands of viewers without knowing how much pleasure they bring to us !! Great video! I think the reason the oil looked like it was boiling when you added the beef is because of the moisture from the marinade. The moisture would have also made it tough because it was boiled instead of fried. Bri really should be proud of that lovely voice she has. I really enjoyed listening to her sing at prom. ❤

Good question lol … mentally I can be early 20’s … I’ll soon be 64. Physically … some days I feel 64 but most days I feel 40’s. Guess I have good genes & work ethic as my dad is 93 and he still gets up and goes daily…little slower but this week he has wore my 68yr old cousin out that’s helping him in building a carport on a rental house. My dad has been the one up & down on the ladder lol. So hopefully my body & mind can keep up with my daddy’s lol

We like hot beef sandwiches which is a roast beef sandwich cut in half. Put the mashed potatoes between the sandwich halves on the plate and cover with hot roast beef gravy.

Bri you do have a beautiful voice. I'm 53 in my mind im in my 30's bit my physical body im in my 60"s I just had a complete right knee replacement it didn't goes as good as my left knee replacement. I have a infection going on with this one im on a highly dose of antibiotics so please pray for me I go back to my surgeon Monday hopefully the infection will be gone. Yall are a wonderful family

Memphis to Nashville is 3hrs…visit all the country bars…or there is a great little area in Ky at land between the lakes … huge lakes…Patti’s 1800 Settlement House in Grand Rivers, Ky. Amazing restaurant, shops, just the lake scenery, cabins, hotels….really quaint for an overnight visit. It’s 3hrs from Memphis. And of course there is Gatlinburg but it’s 7hrs from Memphis.

If you have a Dutch oven or crock pot, you can make a pot roast. Or a braised roast. Takes only a few minutes to put together if braising. It takes longer to sear each side then it takes to put the rest of the ingredients together. The tougher the cut, the longer it cooks. Once seared, you can just add the broth and if you want garden vegetables cooked in with it or if you want to put on buns for shredded meat. The meat has to be tough and have fat in it it helps to infuse the meat to tenderness. Takes hours and cooks slowly in the oven or crock pot. I shred the meat, put it on top of mashed potatoes with a side of roasted vegetables. Lots of recipes and is a nice warm meal in a cold day.

Answer to Bri’s question…I’m 51 but my mind still has me in my 20’s cause it tells me that I can still do all of these projects on my farm by myself but Physically my body tells me otherwise…probably in my 60’s cause when I start those projects I usually instantly regret it and have to call in for reinforcements from my son who is only 22 😂

If you are going to be in Memphis, try to do the Sun City Music Tour. It is fabulous. We didn't know if it would be good but boy it was great. We loved it. Also the martin Luther King Museum is very interesting. We truly enjoyed that. There are some very yummy bbq places in Memphis.

Dinner looks great. A year ago I would have felt in my 40's, I'm 71, and I feel my age with sciatic pain. I never have traveled much so I really can't suggest but only one thing is LasVegas. I guess it's because I went once with my mom and sister and mom got sick so we didn't do much of anything. We did play a few slot machines, but i wanted to go to some shows or what ever else they had fun to do. 😊

In 1987, my family and I went to Mount Rushmore and stopped at Wal Drug. They had signs along the highway, counting down how close you were to them. So we had to stop. Was fun. Just outside Mount Rushmore is a saloon. You dine there, and everyone is in costume to the old west. That was a blast, and the food was outstanding. Of course we also stopped at other places. We traveled through South Dakota in the 60's. I remember the billboards any signs pointing to Wall Drugstore along the way. We had to stop! It was a Drugstore, souvenir store and small museum all rolled into one. 😂😂😂 We also saw huge teepees with pick-up trucks parked beside. There would be a bison or two hanging around their yard.

So I think mentally it keeps me young, probably in my 20-30’s. But physically I’m definitely in my 50’s sometimes 60’s from the years of caring for my mom.❤
