@@jinzo637 Don't fret. It's usually mild most of the time but times like that it's moderate. RE7 had me at severe trying to get the sample in Eveline's room. I had to force myself to do it. I can do that part comfortablely now without fear. I can sit in a dark room calm and collected if I know I can turn the lights on at anytime. It's when I don't have the option that the phobia kicks in.

something just dawned on me. this whole house section is ethan hallucinating. the baby realy looks like jack backer in his last bossfight in the OG story, not the DLC. maybe this is what ethan was affraid of when mia got pregnant, and the ventriloquist lady pulled it straight out of his memory, as to not give him an easy chance to gain composure. and for the fans as a little callback. but, one weird thing still bothers me, how did ethan not know that he's a mold man, did everybody realy just lie to him, doctors, chris, even mia seemed to know about it. how did they hide it from him, chris doesn't seem like the guy that would go easy on you during training.

They did tests on him so I assume the mold mimic'd his cells. He didn't mutate so all the cells were the same, just infected. I assume like how Miranda could mimic anything, he basically mimic'd being a normal human. I think Mia might've seen him regenerate when he was killed and that was why she knew he was mold, if his face got caved in and came back then she would for sure know he was like the Bakers. Chris didn't know, no one knew but Mia. He was somehow immune to the mutation as well as Eveline's influence. Mia never mutated but also wasn't pushed beyond death like Marguerite and Jack was, but still fought with Eveline for psychological control. For some unexplained reason, Ethan gained the regenerative abilities of the mold but was free of her influence. The "molded" were people who had been encased in mold and left to mutate, perhaps at the influence of Eveline considering she produced the "molded" even when people weren't used (in the ship scene with Mia). So I assume that Ethan being immune to the psychic control of Eveline also kept his body from mutating because she couldn't force him to mutate nor control the mold infecting him. I think we are just supposed to assume that Ethan was the perfect specimen. Body left completely intact with no psychological defects, but with increased regenerative abilities.

4:36 - Jump Scare, I just wished Resident Evil 8 had more jump scares. People felt that Resident Evil 7 had too many jump scares, so the amount of jump scares were nerfed. Jump Scares area also contingent on your playing style as well. 6:17 - Hiding under the bed is likely going to save Daniela from getting eaten by the baby monster after getting the fuse. 7:40 - Saved by the elevator though the escape mannerism Nicole used was risky.
