Please use this calculation: ((cycle count X20)/1000)-100 change minus sign to + sign that is you battery health. So 2X20= 40 than 40/1000 = .04 than 0.4-100 = -99.96 change to positive it is 99.96 battery health. In my case cycle count is 464 so 464X20 = 9280 than 9280/1000 = 9.28 than 9.28-100 = -90.72 change to positive thus my iPad battery health is 90.72 % .

This is very helpful. After calculating I came to 88.48. I’ve had my iPad for 9 months. Is my battery degrading too fast for 9 months? And how do I prolong battery health? Would you kindly do a video on general battery health and maintenance?

But you can see it’s written in the background people just have to read scan the page. maximum capacity percent is 105 so why you going a long way round. That means your battery is still 100% give it a couple of months is will go below. I done it on my iPhone and it’s correct I battery health and this way. They both match.
@asela81667 ай бұрын
I’m a little unsure if the calculation is correct, why are you multiplying with 80?
6 ай бұрын
His calculations are incorrect. The correct formula is: (cycles x 20 / 1000)-100 For example, my iPad has 1030 cycles, so the equation would be (1030 x 20 / 1000) - 100 = (20600/1000)-100 = 20,60 - 100 = 79,4% battery health. The “20” and “1000” are used to set a proportional starting point, like this: If 1000 cycles equals 20 percent loss, then how much loss does 1030 cycles equals to. 1000 = 20 1030 = y Then, using the directly proportional rules, y = 1030 x 20 / 1000

@shabdikvarma52806 ай бұрын
You can also check it with ("last_value_MaximumCapacityPercent":86 - this was from kzbin.info/www/bejne/n5nSpa2Ol9KnY9E) and the math in this video is wrong. Ex: I have the cycle count as 508. If I do his calculations I'll get 59.36% remaining which doesn't make sense coz of simple logical calculation, that is = 0 cycle = 100% 1000 cycles = 80% so, 500ish% should equal = 90% (not 59.36%) Therefore, the correct math would be to consider the lost percent (that is 20 in this case), rather than the retention (that is, 80 which was used in the video) Cycle - % Lost 1000 - 20 508 - ? (508*20)/1000 = 10.16 lost. Therefore, 100%-10.16% = 89.84% ~ 90%
@shabdikvarma52806 ай бұрын
To use it on the video Cycle - % Lost 1000 - 20 2 - ? (2*20)/1000 = 0.04 lost. Therefore, 100%-0.04% = 99.96% ~ 100% coz if the iPad losses 0.16% every 2 cycle, it'd lose 0.08% every 1 cycle and then that'd be 0.08*1000 cycles = 80% LOSS of battery. So, it'd only be 20% retention, which would be devastating!

This is definitely not "very precise" because it doesn't account for other degradation that happens beyond just charge cycles, such as when you leave it plugged in for extended periods, or iOS decides it wants to randomly heat up past reasonable limits, etc.
