Imagine this: you're brought into an organization for sole use to be their puppet. Along the way, you find out that in reality you're basically nothing; just a vessel holding the place of someone you don't even know who's real. You try to run away; one of your best friends hurts you and brings you back. You then find out your existence is hurting one of your best friends and making him weaker. You have to turn against both of your best friends to accomplish your true mission. In the end, you let your other best friend essentially kill you for the greater good, knowing that he wouldn't even remember a single trace of you afterwards. You 'die' without even being given the right of being remembered. Now Xion might be hated by some people, I don't see why. She's courageous and loving, and she thought she was nothing and gave herself up for the greater good. If that's not beautiful and courageous then I don't know what is.

Everyone talks about Roxas and his crappy life. Look at Xion! She tried hard to be her own person, but when she learned the truth she was torn with doing the right thing (going back to Sora), or staying with her friends. In one of the secret reports Axel even states that he can't kill her. So when she's absorbing to much of Roxas' being into her she forces him to fight her. That is sad.. and responsible at the same time. She willingly died for the greater good. R.I.P. Xion you'll be missed :(

Xions theme is so beautiful ;-; I think she was the best character in the series... Wonderful voice actor too, it suited her. Seemed really... timid and scared. I don't understand why people would hate her. Sure, maybe she might've been too depressed and timid. But think about it, if your life was at risk, wouldn't you be too? Trust me, this is coming from an AkuRoku and RokuShi fan... I just really hope Xion can come back in the next game. And she'd have a happy ending, along with Axel and Roxas. Come back, soon, Xion!

I miss Kingdom Hearts. I miss that point in my life when I ran to the store with my mother to buy KH2, came home, and played for hours on end going on a journey with Sora. Glued to my handheld watching Roxas live out his days with the Organization. And most recently (2 years ago) quietly observing the relationship of three best friends doomed to be separated. People will say that we are childish for crying over what happened in this game and that this song can make us cry, but the case is not that it is just a game. It is a story that has both it's beautiful and fun times but also the sadness and sacrifice needed to help others and stop the darkness. To have such a powerful effect on us shows that this story has empathy and gives us messages that makes us discover our real selves. That's what the song means to me really.

This is pretty much the only song that makes my heart ache a little. I usually could care less if a character dies; however, Xion is a special case. She knew she wasn't meant to exist, so she happily accepted her death. Kingdom Hearts is the best game I've ever played. It's heart-warming, touching, sad, and yet happy at the same time. Kingdom Hearts also has parts just want to make you cry. Even the characters are great role models. Sora is kind, and his light shines brighter than even the sun and stars themselves. Kairi is a nice girl, and doesn't want to feel like she's being saved all the time. She wants to join in to help her friends. There are many other characters connected to each other in a way.
