I wasn't aware he was every non-IFRA. They used to carry all of his PRYN parfum stuff in the UK, and across Europe, so I assumed it was IFRA compliant. Having spent more time with them, I don't think Turkish Leather and Morah are the same under their new packaging. I'd be interested to smell Mandarava since the Prissana line moved to 30ml bottles. I think Thichila and Mriga, which was released a year ago, are pretty much as good as Prin gets.

I'm wearing No.5 EDP on a regular basis. Some try it once and dislike it, a top tip is to wear it regular for a week and fall in love with it as I did. Best advice I ever got is wear the fragrance for yourself and not others. I've found wearing fragrances, particularly florals is that whilst in department stores etc, sales assistants stand much closer and are very chatty with a lovely smile. The future's bright, it's floral.

Couldn't agree with both of you more, Geranium Pour Monsieur is wonderfully refreshing, and yes, the mint is not toothpasty at all. Want toothpasty mint? Try Etat Libre d'Orange You or Someone Like You. I don't know how true this is but according to a salesman at an Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle store, Geranium Pour Monsieur is Mr. Malle's favorite.

@AndyMpls3 жыл бұрын
@@WaftsfromTheLoft Hi Guys. Thanks for checking in. The Molinard is a treat. I've enjoyed wearing it a few times since I got it. When I saw it's note profile and comments I was expecting something along the lines of Mitsouko. On me it plays more like Aromatics Elixir or Aramis 900 (drier more floral, not as fruity). All three I'm crazy about. I'm looking forward to giving Molinard some good wearings during the Springtime, my favorite season for Chypres. Thanks again for the suggestion.

Based off of your reviews I sampled MAAI last night. Its lasting power means I am still sampling it this morning ~12 hours later. It really is exceptionally complex and eternal. Here's the thing about scented geranium (Pelargonium gravolens) though...all the fragrance comes from its leaves and not the blossoms. The leaves are where get the essential oil or solvent-extracted absolute. So to refer to it as a floral note is debatable. Be that as it may, GOD I love a good geranium note.

@@WaftsfromTheLoft I can't speak for others but I do miss the odd 'n' fragrances for 'm' style of video that you do. They reveal lots about your habits, how stuff wears in a climate or season which is always nice to listen to. I would love to see a video done about fragrances that maybe don't last long but, boy - they make an impression. I don't think ANY channel has done that one. You know, we all have those guilty pleasures that don't stick about for long - but they reveal fleeting beauty. Also one about 'best savoury' perfumes. There are plenty of perfumes with dominant or savoury hearts and accords. 🤩😍😁

If this is representative of floral fragrance for men, I hate florals. Personally I find florals to be (almost?) exclusively feminine, and suggesting men wear them is akin to emasculation, feminisation, and an antidote to accusations of ‘toxic masculinity’. That’s my OPINION, that I believe I’m still free to express, so deal with it. I know there’s a lot of love for Carnal Flower, but I can’t get past the repulsive top notes. Ropion made a far better tuberose fragrance with Les Bains Guerbois’ 1992 Purple Night. I like Paloma y Raices from Homoelegans, and although the caramel is a little offputting, Franck Boclet’s Cocaine is decent, and perhaps wearable for a man as caramel has started to become a little more fashionable. I also liked the ‘cheap and cheerful’ Truth or Dare celebrity fragrance from Madonna, a woman at work used to wear it before it was discontinued. Also discontinued, the one ‘proper’ floral marketed to men, Jean Paul Gaultier’s Fleur du Male. Maybe the discontinuation is indicative of my earlier point, florals are not masculine.

@side2 Side Guys, wear what you want because you like it and it suits you. Not because some fucuking leftisttt like this one tells you to wear perfume marketed to women or you're insecure. They are as bad as someone who tells you that you're forbidden from wearing a woman's scent. I wear a female fragrance from time to time because this one happens to suit my skin - not because a bunch of soys tell me to wear it and start with the insults to push that opinion.
