Shedosenteven GoHere it’s a reference to the documentary. Before this show, peep had taken too many drugs and everyone was scared that he couldn’t preform, but he did. He was out of it on the first song but when the second song came in, he killed the show. When he got off stage he said to his management “I told you I could do it”. In the documentary the guy that peep told that to said “ once he said that. I knew we had a problem”.
@user-vq6yn3kv4t4 жыл бұрын
Shedosenteven GoHere I guess, but I think his drug problem is and was pretty well known, since he had multiple times called himself a junky and talked about his drug consumption in interviews and in his song lyrics. And obviously his drug problem is quite apparent in his untimely and unfortunate death.

@@charliebrowm7670 While I have to say it is absofuckinglutely NOT normal for someone overdosing to be able to perform like Peep does here, it is a huge misconception that someone overdosing HAS to receive medical attention or they'll die 100% for certain. That's definitely not the case. Sure for people that O.D. on opioids there's Narcan to bring them back, but even that doesn't always work, NOR is it always even needed, either. An overdose is just as the name says, it was a dose large enough to go beyond the scope of the drug's intended recreational effects, and cross over into effects POTENTIALLY fatal to the body, that's all. I just wanted to clarify this, being a heroin user myself. Whose dumb ass has overdosed too many times to count, or even fully recall. Some of those overdoses involved me waking up in the hospital...some just involved me waking up hours (or days, in one instance) covered in my own piss and vomit, with legs/fingers/hands that wouldn't move properly for months due to blood flow being cut off/nerves compressed from where I passed out on them. I would definitely consider both cases overdoses. Whether a hospital was involved or not. That being said, I was 100% in no way capable of getting onstage and doing a gig like this if Scenario B happened and I wasn't hit with Narcan and quickly revived. I believe Peep could've O.D.'d some hours before this show, been hit with Narcan, and still performed. He would still be pretty out of it and groggy (as potentially evidenced in this video) but he wouldn't have been so drained he couldn't perform. Hell, after every time I've been hit with Narcan within 30 minutes I'm dashing out the hospital and running to the hood to get high again asap. Its not like an overdose always keeps you handicapped all day.

Survived a six year opioid addiction. I began using to cope with my mental health issues and suicidal thoughts. When you’re an addict, 99.999 percent of people do one or two things. Either 1. They throw you away and judge you even if you never do them wrong. My own family left me except a few brothers. Or 2. They join in your madness and tell you it’s okay to do. Nobody ever reacts with honest love. The only people to tell you it’s wrong are those that abandon you. And the only people to support you tell you the drugs are okay. Luckily I’m three and a half years sober. It took six years and 10 overdosed for one person to show me honest love.

Peep said that at the very beginning, right after "Hellboy", and then again at 8:57 when he mumbled: "i apologize for my behavior tonight". He deeply cared and was really grateful for the people who were there for him. That's what impressed me the most: even if he was soooo messed up, Peep was very aware of his drug problem and that he was fucking it up.
