A + lftmb is way more efficient in long term on adc for kitting, bcz you spreading your control's and won't mess up most likely, when using rghtmb both for moving and attack moving put's you in really hard position (especially in higher ratings) to not mess up your kitting. Most of the best adc's (Ruler,Gumaushi etc.) using it as well, bcz its the optimal way for kitting on adc . Speaking for myself i got that control's preference back from warcraft 3 and dota times.

when you press A + left mouse button, it attacks the target closest to your click, so it's easier to move backwards(or in any direction) while still attacking, cause you don't have to move your mouse back and forth
