I would think that a shorter wig with a bit more fringe from your temples to your neckline would give you a really nice look and some versatility with those longer edges to "frame" your face and reshape anywhere you feel is fuller-looking. This girl has that extra length and I love her for that! Another girl with that extra length is Trixie by Godiva's Secret Wigs. Have you seen her? There's another bixie by The Wig Company that I reviewed not too long ago (this month) and her name is Make Waves. That would be a great one to try! Have you tried any wigs like these? Your reviews have been wonderful in helping me select and style a wig for its best look. I hoped you might consider reviewing Paula Young's "Dallas" wig. I could not find where you have done one, and the two reviews by others were awful. They do not show the wigs to good effect at all. I think the Dallas wig could be a beautiful wig if someone actually tried to arrange it.

I have looked at her but thought she looked more like Bennet and that to me, is a great deal of hair in the front, you know what I mean? But this turned out so nicely and I was pleasantly surprised after you started to style her. Thanks so much. I always wear greys or white as that is my natural color but I think I am going to try my first red, medium auburn, in this one. At this price point, I feel I can afford to try. Hi Kathy! I went back and checked on my video at your timestamp and you might be right! Although I didn’t notice any kind of sparseness when I had Danielle on the manikin or after I had her styled, it does look like in that one section the wefting could possibly be showing. But honestly, after wearing her, I’m confident that once she’s styled you wouldn’t have any worries about that. Not like many other wigs with that I have tried, seen and reviewed! I have seen the sparseness in the actual wig, because a friend just unboxed hers. It is so "whisper-light" that it is almost see-through in places,😮.... but if you have a similar natural hair color underneath, it shouldn't matter. It is a very attractive style!

I was thinking, "that reminds me of a Jaclyn Smith wig" just before you mentioned it. I've had my eye on Danielle for some time. I kept going back to it, then talking myself out of it, and then back again. For medical reasons I've started wearing wigs last year. I told my mom that I decided to wear wigs. But the first time she saw me in a wig, she said, "oh, your hair grew back". She honestly couldn't tell I'm wearing a wig, even though she knows I wear wigs.

Upon trying Danielle on this wig is longer than what you are wearing. The sides just cover my ear lobes, whereas yours is above your lobes. Was yours trimmed for the video?

Hi Helen! Oh my gosh no, it was not trimmed at all! It sounds like either the way was cut completely wrong or the dimensions of your head and my head are so very different that the wig may fit on us differently. Do you know What are your head dimensions are? My measurement from my front hairline to my chin is 8”. This measurement would make the biggest difference. If yours is 7-8” I would say that the wig you received was cut wrong and the likelihood of getting another one just like it would be pretty slim. So I might send it back and order another one if your face measurement is close to mine. If it’s shorter than 7 inches then the style would not give you the same appearance as what is in the catalog or in my video and you might need to look for a different style. Another option might be to have your hairstylist trim it to Make it look right for you. That might be the easiest approach to take. Do you know what your face measurement is?

Hi Coco, I really like this wig but read a review that the wefts show very easily when the wind blows. Did you notice this. Their are a lot of times this happens to me and am very disappointed…

Hi sunshine girl! Wefts will always be a concern with every wig unless it’s a hand tied wig. But there are three main factors that can contribute to being able to see the Wefts. First is the color of the wig. Light gray and white wigs and even some light blondes Will show the wefts a lot easier, especially if they don’t have any darkness at the root. It’s just a natural consequence of being a very light wig and the shadows that are created by the wefts and wig cap. So a darker wig or a wig that has lots of color dimension or rooting will always hide the wefts better. The second thing Is the way it is styled. If you have a wig style that has long enough fibers that have allow for much movement, especially on a bixie like this one, it’s more likely to lift with the wind unless you pin it down with hair accessories (headbands, barrettes, clips) or hair spray, Longer Wigs won’t have that problem as much. The third issue with wefts showing has to do with the construction of the cap and how many rows of hair curtains are on the wig to create the wefts. A wig that has fewer rows, or very loose rows, will always have a tendency to be sparse and not have enough hair to cover the wefts even when running your hands through the hair. The first two are under your control and the third factor is what you get from the factory. This Danielle has good spacing on her wefts (good coverage) but she is a light color and I saw a little bit of the wefts as I styled her. However with the inconsistence in quality we’ve been seeing with PY wigs, you never know. So I think if you really like the style of this week, I would go ahead and order her and see what you get.
