I feel you Danielle...I am 32 years old and left bald forever after undergoing strong chemo treatment. No one told me I was going to be left bald...I my self esteem was bad then but now the worst to the point I want myself death many times. When you say all these words in the video I feel so identify..😭for many people is just too simple to say "it's just hair'" or..." Cmon it's coming back..' because it doesn't..and no doctor oncologist will tell ever the truth..I wonder even myself if I preferred my life dead but with hair...being without hair I feel like humiliated, ugly..I cannot even recognise myself..I was long thick dark hair and blue eyes and that was my identity

I am in the same situation. I underwent a BMT and bounced back pretty well with my hair growing back nicely but cancer wasn't finished with me yet. I was diagnosed with breast cancer 1.5 years later and my first thought was DAMN I am going to lose my hair again. My treatment has left me bald and without breasts. Luckily my husband has been my stronghold and strength. He loves me regardless but I still tell him I feel devastated.😢

Hi Danielle! I'm 55 nearly and I know what you mean about your hair. Had a mastectomy this year and even at my age was relieved to find I had a heart condition so chemo was not offered to me. Strange isn't it that Dr's observe that often the first question isn't what's my prognosis but will I lose my hair?
