Hi Danielle, I’ve been a subscriber for a few years now and I just want to thank you. My mom passed a couple months ago and your videos help motivate me to do the simple things like make my bed, cook meals, and try to be happy again.

I have a lot of puffers too!! I definitely suggest just getting it dry cleaned. If you wash it yourself you run the risk of it tearing the fabric or flattening the puffer.
@karleywhite69412 жыл бұрын
yes, my husband and I wash our puffers! you don't want to do it too often to maintain the puff, but you totally can! it's good to buy specific detergent for puffer jackets, we love the Nikwax down wash. and then when you dry the jacket, put a few tennis balls in with it, this helps it fluff back up!
@andreafrith90432 жыл бұрын
I use a different detergent but it all does the same thing. Using enough tennis balls is key because that's what maintains the fluff and doesn't let it shift around in your jacket. Otherwise you can end up with areas that have no fluff and other areas that have too much - 2 tennis balls per jacket should be good :)

I love watching you go through your daily duties, like washing your clothes, etc. I also find washing my clothes and folding them my quite time, as well as washing my dishes to be one with myself.

I occasionally wash my puffer as well on a gentle cycle with cold water. I don't put it in the dryer, I let it air dry. Since the material is water proof it can air dry within a whole evening
@kassitaylor67702 жыл бұрын
you can wash them in the washer but dry them with tennis balls in the dryer! it keeps the “puffy” of your puffer!! literally my favorite thing is when yoy post!

Hi, I have the exact Sam coat. Wash in washing machine, cold water, put detergent and white vinegar in the wash, hang dry. It will wash perfectly and smell fresh. U can wash all puffer coats the same. Use tide or gain , not the laundress, save that for sheets and towels. 👌🏾

@Danielle Marie Carolan, there should be a little tag somewhere in your coat that will tell you how to wash it. Worst case, take it to a dry cleaner.

Love that you’re making ramen at home!! Also, not sure if anyone else commented but please trim your candle wicks before burning them! It’s a much cleaner burn when you do, and it decreases the chance of an apartment fire. ❤️

Hey Dani, if you ever want less ingredients to help save you time to make some ramen soup, I suggest going to HMart and grabbing miso paste to make a quick ramen broth! They also have many topping ingredients for your ramen too ☺️

wash your puffer jacket in cold water and don't use dryer sheets when you put it in the dryer, use dryer balls cause the balls will hit your jacket and keep the feathers from clumping together

OMG! I just made homemade ramen and it was so easy & so good! A little different than yours but, you should try it! You can use any raw, cruciferous veggies you like, put them in a mason jar and then you pour hot bone broth over the top! Seal and let sit for 2 mins. It was soooo yummy! Bone broth has so much protein!! And collagen. Try it! I used zoodles instead of ramen! Healthy & Yummy!

Hi Danielle! My 19 year old daughter is coming to Brooklyn by herself for vacation and staying in a air b. My client that lives in Manhattan is telling me she shouldn’t take the subway because it is unsafe. I would love to hear your thoughts. I really enjoy watching your videos.

Love you so much, but as a French persson living in Paris i'm so triggered by the way you pronounce "Le pain quotidien" but it's nothing i'm so obsessed with your new york city vlogs!!
@hannahyu10382 жыл бұрын
please use your platform to speak out on the brooklyn shooting. this is YOUR city, the city that you’ve been making a ton of money posting about. the city you’ve made your brand centered around. the community that was affected was primarily chinese-american and latino. i understand that you have the PRIVILEGE of not relying on the subway, and you live in manhattan (not brooklyn). but at the end of the day, you have the time/money/resources/platform to be speaking out in support of this community. do better.

I think if you’re expecting that social awareness ‘content’ you need to look elsewhere and be a bit more aware of the content you’re choosing to consume, because most people watch this for escapism & enjoyment and it’s not fair to demand that to change when you want, you can also do better
