I've been trying to find a way for how to tie a perfect bow on my dress and the other tutorials didn't work because they were thin ribbons but this one worked! Thank you so much!

If anyone needs the video to be slower click on the settings button on the video (the little gear icon) and change the speed to 0.5. Also you can use K to pause the video J to rewind ten seconds and L to jump forward 10 seconds.

I dont know how so many people found this helpful. I had to watch the first 20 seconds like 10 times to see what you were doing, and it was WAY TOO FAST. I had to look down, then back, then realize I was doing it wrong, then look back, rewind, look up, get confused, then just start over.

Thank you so much for your video. I have been trying to tie a descent Bow for YEARS with much frustration, and some pretty sad looking Bows. I could just never get it right. I looked at a half dozen videos about bow tying on KZbin, but they were just way above my Bow Grade. And, I don’t think that you went too fast. I, too, had to stop and rewind several times as well, while i was makeing my first bow, but I think that is fairly normal for us newbies, who are trying to learn a new technique. And, … that is why Steve Jobs put a rewind button on my MacBook. I have saved your tutorial in one of my playlists, and I’m sure that I will be back many times for review. Thank You for sharing! :-)

you can also dip the edges of the bow in glue as well to prevent fraying.

Thanks Michele, very true! That card would have been half an A4 piece of cardstock folded in half. The final card size is 15 cm (5 3/4 inches) x 10.5 cm (4 1/8 inches). So I tied the bow around the 10.5 cm side. :-)

I'm sorry you found my tutorial so disappointing. This is just the way I tie bows, but there are plenty of other methods and tutorials. Try Jak Heath's channel, she has some great bow tying tutorials. Hope you find something that works for you! :-)
