I was searching the comments for this type of sentiment. I too cut my son's hair with no formal training outside of 20+ years of sitting and watching barbers do it. I started cutting my own at 19 and never went to a barber again. That being said I've watched plenty of "professional" barber videos and none have made the fade sound this simple. Great job!

@DanielleLaShawn4 жыл бұрын
Lol, when you get an at home kit the guards will be numbered and usually color-coded. Teeth forward and back refers to how long or short they'll cut the hair. You got this!
@MissConcupiscible4 жыл бұрын
Lol, the front teeth, back teeth through me. I was like clippers have that switch cause mine doesn't. Oh well the kid ain't got nowhere to go and can't look at his own head all the time so we'll be ok. I guess🤷🏽♀️

@catchingfadesclashroyal65064 жыл бұрын
@@MissConcupiscible come on man that's not that difficult. She's talking about the lever on the side of the clippers that widen the teeth, or narrow the teeth. there was only one attachment used in this video and that was the #1. They're labeled on every single hair cutting kit I've ever seen.

Great video! I have been cutting my sons hair for 5 years...watched countless videos...and STILL have not mastered blending. 🙃 I think my next step is barbering school!

Thank you for this! Very detailed and easy to follow and understand! With all the shops closed right now, I have my sons hair and husbands hair to cut. I shave my own head, but I do #2 all around, so I've never had to learn to fade. Thank you! Your a life saver!
