Thanks for your awesome reaction. David is brilliant with arranging and pays so much attention to detail. Nothing beats seeing David live at one of his Barn Bashes. That’s where special things happen. One of my favorites things was when he sang “If” accompanied by his son, Grant, on guitar.

This song is so beautiful and, in my opinion, very calming. Callie usually sings the lower while Maggie Beth sings the higher. An older song of the three singing (with those father/daughters look) is Five Little Fingers, then Maggie Beth on He's Still My Child, Callie with David on I Hope You Dance, and, one of my favorites, For These Tears I Died with Callie, Maggie Beth, and David. My favorite song on this DVD is I Hope You Dance that David and Callie perform together. It is so beautifully done. I highly recommend it. He also does a beautiful rendition of Somewhere.

Maggie Beth only joins David at the concerts on their farm bc she has her own career as a hair stylist. Callie toured with him until last fall when she gave birth to David’s 1st grand baby.

The sheer artistry of David’s arrangements leave me breathless sometimes. Along this line, check out David’s song, “Just As I Am.” It’s not what you think. I have never heard anyone use their voice like this. Use the one in the Barn recording studio in black and white, not the one on stage where he wears the brown suit. Simply amazing.

David also has two sons and they also sing with him at times. Not as often as the girls but I've heard them and, as usual, it's stunning. One of his Sons also accompanies him on the acoustic guitar sometimes. The other runs the sound. The whole family is multi talented. His wife runs his merch table.
