She not gets promotions a lot and she is poorly handled by ABS-CBN when they want to market her as the "next big superstar". Honestly, she is better off alone writing her own songs and playing instruments. She creates her own vibe and a different side of her and her versatility.

I know people like to blame management and local regional media companies for lack of mainstream market penetration. It's possible that all of the reasons people give are elements of the cause. It's also not acknowledging some important factors. Here are some factors that are not made up and can be verified independently with a little research. The US music industry as well as EU bubble popped the moment physical sales and the stores that sold them died. US music industry has plateaued to the point world famous performers can't sell out venues in Madison square garden. Which means they have to use smaller venues to break even or generate profit to pay for everyone involved. US music industry is no longer profitable for the vocalists because of streaming service paying fraction of pennies per single to the artist. Last I'll mention even though there are a ton more factors. Success in the US over the last decade is now based on personality. It's the "Kardashian" effect. It clearly visible by who the top 10 US vocalists are. They are on top because of social media. Talent is not a prerequisite for success atm. Who's fault is it? Everyone that uses social media and seeks out these personalities. Every interaction is viewed as positive even if the interaction is insulting the person of interest. Billie Eilish made a fraction of what Mariah Carey made at the same period in both careers. However none music contracts made her wealth explode. This is a nuanced issue. To ignore societal trends only makes people sound ignorant.

I was emotional when Morissette premiered this music video, like I know she don’t know me personally, i have been a fan of her for almost seven years now. And I just feel so proud of what she has now, from ups and downs to different struggles in life, from different colors of her voice and different song stories to tell. What she achieved now is a part of me being so proud, I never felt this way before. Morissette has been a big part of my life. I really feel you right now D! ❤️ just by seeing this picture you of being emotional maybe because the song is very relevant of what is really happening to us in these very hard time, I’m looking forward for your reaction. Love from filipino people 🇵🇭 #SubscriptionSquad

Her songs now are different from the type of songs she used to record or perform before. Now, she sounds even more EXPENSIVE. The quality of music, the wordings for the lyrics, and the quality of cinematography, and a lot more. That's what her bashers CAN'T accept. This girl is giving OPM (Original Pilipino Music) a new taste. She's still adding the touch of "Filipino ballad" - stuff here, but she is making music that is fresh to the ears of the listeners. It's not about how difficult the song is by its dynamics (well technically her songs are hard), it is about the strength of the lyrics and the essence of the message it wants to convey. I love your reaction by the way Danielle. ❤️ I am looking forward for more #MoriMonday

The lyrics of the song can be used for: - the olympics - during this pandemic to give hope - the paralympics; overcoming hardships - in a movie about trying to succeed - in a movie about fulfilling a dream - in a movie about empowering marginalized people - in a theater song - in a Pixar movie about someone braving an adventure - in a high school graduation - in a beauty pageant opening - your personal anthem in your life - people trying to overcome diseases or serious health conditions - heck, it can be used for a commercial about space exploration!

Lovely reaction :) Eyes cryin rivers, that's about how i feel every time i listen to her. Music really do speak to people. And Miss. Morissette's voice just get to me every time.. It doesn't matter what song she performs, she just hits me right in the heart. Also she seems to be such a fun and good person all around. Ever since i first heard and saw her, she just had this "aura" about her that i cannot put into words. Love the respect she showed all the hard working people in the field of medicine these days at the end of the video.

LYRICS: Fighting everyday Doesn't feel like living So much on my plate So much on my mind Tryna numb the pain None of it is working Don't wanna dig this grave While I'm alive There’s a hope that comes with the morning There's a chance to start over again Just as long as our hearts keep on beating There's still time left to win So let's shine like the sun Rise like a phoenix Take to the sky 'Cuz we got no limits Don't be afraid to reach for the stars 'Cuz we were made to go that far So much now has changed Finding new perspective Not an easy fate But will be worth the ride And we will carve the way Crossing through the valleys Don't wanna be afraid to be alive There’s a hope that comes with the morning There's a chance to start over again Just as long as our hearts keep on beating There's still time left to win So let's shine like the sun Rise like a phoenix Take to the sky 'Cuz we got no limits Don't be afraid to reach for the stars 'Cuz we were made to go that far There’s a hope that comes with the morning There's a chance to start over again Just as long as our hearts keep on beating There's still time left to win So let's shine like the sun Rise like a phoenix Take to the sky 'Cuz we got no limits Don't be afraid to reach for the stars 'Cuz we were made to go We were made for more We were made to soar that far
