Too bad they can’t win final but time to time he does make good plays for his team. If his teammates can be on same page without telling them what to do they maybe advance further. San Antonio manual, Parker, Duncan trio was rly good to watch the way they move the ball around.

How many times did I see Phil Jackson calling timeouts to correct plays while Jordan calls for ISOs. LeBron is a coach on the floor, manipulating offenses and defenses, not just focused on the defender infront of him. Man is playing chess out there with opposing team coaches. Countless times LB would also make in game adjustments to the team while his head coach sits and watch and would force opposing coach to call timeouts to get their defense adjusted. Casuals wont see this, but the purists just stand on absolute awe.

This is why I get a bit irritated with people who say LeBron plays no defense. Yes, they're half right in that he doesn't put that much physical effort into playing defense (only averages 2 contested shots per game), but he is always going to be impactful on that end regardless because of shit like this

Insane that with all of this, and good players like AD, the lakers are STILL 9th in the west.

That's why he felt like a frustrated coach when the team falls. He can be a great coach but he's more likely to own a team

Did they tell Darvin Ham he was only going to be the coach in name before giving him the job? Is he playing a role...like in a movie? The NBA is "entertainment" so, is he playing the role of a person who is humiliated on a regular basis? This is almost as bad as the "what we got" video.

This is why LeBron's greatness is more comparable to Magic and Bird since he's more cut from the same cloth as those two than he is with MJ and Kobe.

High IQ aside, LeBron has a loud voice and articulates really well. His directives are short and precise.

it's scary enough that lebron does this night in and night out. aside from a defensively competent roster during that bubble championship run, the lakers had two on-court coaches who could facilitate on the fly and read offensive schemes to set up their defences. bron and rondo were racking up the opposing coaches' brains. i remember that bron and rondo reportedly had a convo where they discussed that if miami comes out of the east, bron would take care of spo. if it's brad and the celtics, rondo would take care of it. that roster was solid and quite underrated.

difference between mj and lebron,mj played chess matched against players who was defending him and phil was the one playing chess matches against coaches, but lebron will play both players and coaches a different difficult chess matches throughout the game.mj aint the brain of the system it was phil jackson that is why mj and kobe only got out of the 1st round 1 time in 35 seasons combined.
