Talk about the adventure of a lifetime - living your dreams with your eyes wide open Daniel. Better still you are making video masterpieces along the way. You had me on the edge of my seat the whole way through, cheering you and your mates on. Brilliant trip, mind-blowing location, incredible fish handled respectfully, and a fantastic group of mates. I don't know how you do this - but every video gets better. Better technically & superbly-crafted stories. Can't believe this is not an adventure channel on Netflix.

I know COLD and it looked COLD but the thrill of the chase......... PRICELESS ! ........ CONGRATULATIONS on a great Dive Adventure !

@stefpix6 жыл бұрын
@@DanielMann did you have 7 mm pants? How did it feel in 9.5 mm? How do you carry the weights on the plane? Do you have to pay overweight fees?
@DanielMann6 жыл бұрын
I had 7.5mm Forza tre pants and the 9.5mm jacket is straight smooth skin so super comfortable and oh so warm. I checked the 5kg weight vest in with one of my bags and just took 5kg of weights in my belt carry in. Norwegian Air and SAS have no problems with dive weights I’ve found. More interested in the plethora of camera equipment I’m usually taking.
@stefpix6 жыл бұрын
@@DanielMann Thank you. Did you dive last year with a 5.5mm? A friend went to Guadeloupe and he had to leave his weights behind as they would not allow them on the plane. I heard some times elsewhere there are problems with individual weights more than 2 lbs / 1 kg. Anyway I'd love to go back to Norway and this time spearfish. Is it very pricey? it is one of the most beautiful places I have been to.
@DanielMann6 жыл бұрын
No way I’d use a 5.5mm in Norway. I rarely use my 5.5mm in the U.K. either. I had a 7.5mm jacket. 1.5mm undervest and 6.5mm pants last year. Was 10-12 degrees but the air temp was mid teens so not so bad. Was borderline. I’d go thicker, it’s always going to be cold there. This trip was circa £1K from the U.K. with flights, accommodation, car hire, boat hire, car fuel, boat fuel and food which we brought from the U.K. and Italy.
