I love that he has so many subscribers based on him actually teaching you about chess, and in such a great way, no bs entertainment like gotham chess, just normal and great commentary. There are too many people who just want more subscribers so they give you "content". Sometimes it is actually good and funny like the botez sisters, and sometimes in is annoying like gotham chess, but he shows that some people appreciate a relaxed teaching of chess by a very strong player. I have learned so much watching his games.

Really enjoy the examples of the same core idea at work in other games - they’re valuable so keep them coming! I’d really enjoy seeing GM Danya’s explanations on pawn storms - good, bad, attacking, defending… If I get beyond blunders (beginner here) that common scenario would be a high priority.

I actually won an online tournament game against a 2100 in february (being myself 1600) with this line, my opponent went queen side castle and it ended pretty much like this x) (I was above my own level in that game, found a brilliant rook sacrifice to open his king with a ~10 moves follow up)

I like this line as white. I have difficulty with the scandi, I am not sure where to put my pieces and sometimes when black castles queenside it can be uncomfortable for my queen of the same rank. Thanks for showing me this, I am going to play it in my games. The fact that black seems to be infatuated with castling queenside so often makes the fianchetto bishop system even better.

I feel like it's bad to just tell beginners/intermediates specific moves like that. Better to understand the ideas behind an opening. Trying to just memorize theory at lower levels isn't worth it because your opponent is not going to play the best lines/moves.
