Who can ever forget this iconic masterpiece " Miss Saigon" the OUTSTANDING theatre production and the TRULY beautiful music which has captivated the hearts of millions over the world, this is such a great, great performance, has brought back many happy memories for me, who can ever forget the helicopter great beginning, the song " The movie in my mind" , " I Still believe", how many times have I had the opportunity to sing both these songs both so moving, powerful beautiful songs to sing, who can forget the "Morning of the Dragon" dance, and how many times did I have the opportunity to dance this dance routine, I would very much like to thank the Cameron Mackintosh Management who gave me Such a BIG AMAZING opportunity to be part of a very special school, The "Miss Saigon Singing Vocal school" which has put me in very good stead for life, I will remember with GREAT HAPPINESS.

i played this piece in my school orchestra back when i was 14 n 15. 1st clarinet score r quite hard and bit annoying with all those articulating and repeating semiquaver. but the slow part is just too amazing. thx for sharing this :)

Over all good, Well played introduction. That is a really hard part. "The movie in my mind" is just too slow to get a good flow. "The year of the Dragon" had a good balance between the woodwinds and the brass. Typical Johan de Meij transition to the meeting of kim and ellen, played well, although here the tempo was too slow to get the dramatic brass voices. Small Reprise of the beginning and transition to "I still believe" well done ! :) Horns and Woodwinds adorable. The Orchestra could hold the tension at the end where the two melodies fought each other. Though the finale was a bit chewy ;) All in all I would say a very nice performance, Guys ! :) Thank you for reminding me of that fabulous Arrangement.

Tempo could improve - tension sags at the slow numbers when the conductor gets indulgent.

I apologise for the inadequacies! I was only in my 2nd year bachelor, but it is certainly not a good enough excuse for the indulgence in tempi'
