Changing the resolution was a life saver in terms of input lag. Anything else helps as long as you disable all the unnecessary processing enhancements and not just one or two.

Hi, haven't tested Scuf but I'll look online to see if anyone tested default polling rate or input lag tests on console, it's not available where I live and by that I mean it's 2X the real price that's why I couldn't buy and test it.

Hi, cables have different speeds, but the fact is most of the typical cables on the market support enough speed for 1000Hz polling rate, I tested many from my phone, my mouse, and Baseus typical charging cables and they all worked fine!

Hi, depends on the game, but for most MP games no, they are stable, story games though can drop frames sometimes depending on the settings, and VRR can unlock more options if 120Hz is supported too. so you can get for example unlocked 40FPS in Spider-Man 2.

Hi! Thanks. a smaller screen has a better pixel density (in high resolutions) and therefore a 27" monitor may look sharper than a 55" TV, however, some games are blurry overall like rebirth, even on a 27" monitor it was still blurry for me, only a little better than TV.

Battle beaver , scuf , dualsense are same… but edge has 1000 polling rate idk how or why. So it’s better to use dualsense , scuf and battle beaver wirelessly otherwise you will get higher input lag thats for sure based on the research i have done… And remember what I’m talking about is on PS5 am not sure how wired performs on PC.

There are EDID Devices that can force 120Hz VRR etc., then convert it to any selected output for a faster response, however, it's best to go with a 120Hz capable monitor to start with at the first place, but VRR EDID devices are good for unsupported monitors.

Hi, no difference in 4K/1440p from my tests, only 1080p which has a bit higher controller input delay though, if you play Warzone it might be a good idea but for MW3 multiplayer check the COD section and use 4K or 1440p.

FPS? you can test with apps like trdrop on PC but first need to record high quality footage (RAW - AVI - Prores LT at least) the other method is using a VRR monitoring device like capture cards which shows FPS in real time from 48-120 on PS5, not good for lower range though.

Hi, ALLM is not needed for monitors as they don't process pictures unlike TV, but for VRR you can either get an EDID device that can enable it or you'd need an HDMI 2.1, I also have an HDMI 2.0 Monitor that I use for FPS games and with Capture Card EDID I can enable VRR.

When I play Watch Dogs 2 and Just Cause 4 on my PS5 there is significant button delay and fps drop. When I change the tv settings to “movie” instead of “game” then the FPS is fine but the button delay is there. What should I do to fix this problem whilst still on the “game” setting on my tv???

EDID devices can force console to output higher refresh rates, I tested with my capture card's EDID mode and it did on a 60Hz screen.

What's the point in getting a ps5 and changing the settings to lower picture quality? You get a ps5 to play games at the highest fidelity, surely. People have become such snobs, makes me wonder how they got by in the ps3/360 era when they were forced to play with lower frame rates.🤦‍♂️ If I'm playing my ps5 I want all the bells and whistles I got it for. I want the highest resolution the game can support, raytracing, the bare minimum,anything beyond that is a bonus.

Lol because there are people who play competitive on PS5 especially for FPS shooter games ; performance over quality.If you are playing story driven games then sure turn up the settings. Keep in mind there are people who can't afford High end gaming PC to get the best of both worlds of performance and graphics. So in the time being people will do anything to boost performance on console

@@gardensofgod7319 I'm french language but i will try... so : depending on whether it's PS5, PS4, XBOX, STEAM etc..... in the internet router settings you have NAT PORT redirections so that your connection is not moderated but open...... you will have maximum throughput for your game support.... and then you have NAT ports for each game..... example for the PS5: TCP: 80, 443, 1935, 3478-3480 UDP: 3478-3479, 49152-65535, 27015-27200..... After that when you go to the network settings of the MW3 game you will see that your connection is open and not moderated.

Coming from a series x and switching over to PC, their is input lag on the xbox series x and to my opinion probably even more than the ps5. I seen some warzone demons on ps5 and the xbox guys are slower to react and much easier to kill. I seen guys switched from ps5 to pc and still play the same as in kills wise. They would drop occasionally 20+ kills on ps5, switches over and their is no improvements. Meanwhile, I had good xbox players go from 1.0-1.8kd to 4+ kd as soon they switched over. Same thing happened to me. I went from 1.8kd to 3.9kd. A friend of mine was accused of cheating because he gained a 5.4kd, not overnight but over with time. Both systems are great though from a price point to performance, it is the best bang for the buck. Their is nothing in this world, you can build to match or surpass a gaming system performance.
