It is a shame that Daniel has been away from the chess scene mostly because of the war, he is definitely one of the most talented attackers, which is the kind of player you need to be to beat Magnus.

Many people here are mad about the way Dubov talks about the new indian school of chess, however it’s very obvious he’s lamenting about something that’s beyond the individual players lol. Dubov is talking about the issue of how computers have revolutionised the game of chess, particularly sucking out the creative and brilliant aspects of it, making it instead a game of memory and study. He talks about young indian players a lot because they are the best representatives of this newer approach to chess. Sure, the way he express himself is very blunt, but that’s the russian style. He’s not wrong in saying that the new chess meta is vomiting as many top engine moves in every line you decide to play as you can remember.
@adityapacharne56884 ай бұрын
Well womp womp I guess change is the only constant. Great companies collapsed because they couldn't keep up with the change.
@madting29844 ай бұрын
@@adityapacharne5688 What you said doesn’t really make sense in the context. It’s not like Dubov is talking about not wanting to adapt, he even explained how his new approach is exactly the same as that of the new generation of indian players. He’s just lamenting how this change is ruining and will ruin chess in the long run, and even predicting the paths that chess will have to take in the future to not be a boring game of memorisation. No one here is talking about refuting change, the topic was always how this change is effectively ruining the game.

What nonsense are you talking, Gukesh never used engine in his formative years..... he has an amazing intuitive ability. His opening repertoire was very limited. I am sure, he is way more talented naturally than your puppet Magnus. Your guy is just salty that Indians are taking over the Russian dominance. Basially US just has Hans, the rest are just borrowed players from Japan, Italy, Armenia and even Indonesia
