@@MinasanKonnichiwa777 No one accussed the kids of cheating. Kramnik did some drama during the olympiad but I have already lost respect for him. But other russian players like Dubov, Grischuk, Ian,etc are always very respectable towards the youngsters. We must not put them in the same bracket as Kramnik who just talks a lot of nonsense.
@MinasanKonnichiwa7772 ай бұрын
@@divyanshuchadha8210 Sorry for the confusion but I wasn't even referring to Kramnik (at least he has the courage and courtesy to speak his mind clearly and admits he is sometime eccentric). I was referring to Nepo and his friends. Let me direct you a few of their actions and then you can decide for yourself . The 'mystery' comment about Gukesh - did you see the whole interview after Candidates on CSquared Podcast? Nepo said Gukesh never had a losing position the whole tournament, and said he warned a FIDE official in January that Gukesh would win the candidates but they didn’t take his warning seriously obviously. Later Grishchuk too said Gukesh was a mystery with a smirk in his face. Ok next, Dennis Lazavik the kid who qualified for finals of Champions Chess Tour last year. Nepo accused him (you can find those tweets). Chesscom cleared him completely and made videos on how talented kids like Lazavik often face accusations from the top guys. Next, when Abhimanyu Mishra became the youngest GM he insinuated that the the GM norm tournament was a fishy one (involving match fixing). Nepo was the main guy who spread the paranoia about Hans's OTB cheating when he was 19 (this is the least serious among all because Hans was actually an online cheater in the past). Anyways the list goes on and you get the point. If you look up the internet you will find many many more instances of cheating accusations.
