So a bunch of you noticed already that this sounds like "Annihilate". The short story is that just before the game released there was an unresolved contract issue with that song and I made this track as a replacement just in case things fell through. All the animations for that level were finished and there was no time to redo them, so I had to match all the programmed animations with this replacement song. However, at the last minute all the contract issues were resolved and there was no need for this replacement track.

You know, you say this was a replacement for Destroid's song, but I wouldn't say I necessarily like that one better. Some of the techniques that you used here gave me major flashbacks to the days of me just getting into the whole music world, and well, needless to say it was fun to listen to. I did the music for the main menu, the factory map, the boss with guitar theme, the fanfare when you complete challenge mode, and a few cutscenes. The only thing besides this that was never released were a couple different versions of the main menu theme before we arrived on the final one. They’re fairly different than what we ended up with.
