I was traveling in India last year & I saw these types of cord weaving there too. It's amazing how two different cultures have so much similarities 🤩

Your poor fingers took a beating on the weaving. The attention to the rounding of the frame woodwork is beautiful. Really well done and inspirational.

You title the video ‘how to’ but leave out all the details. How to determine the distance between the hook nail, how to fix the ends of the cord, etc. Really shame as the end result looks really great.

Hola, muy guapo el cordado. Podrias decirnos la distancia de las alcayatas? Son dos tamaños verdad? Por lo que se ve , en el tramo largo es de dos y en el corto parece de uno, es asi? Gracias un saludo

Thank you for this! Do the nails have to be L-shaped? or do you think ordinary nails would do? (hard to source those types of nails where I'm from)
@adobotachibana732 Жыл бұрын
You could do it with normal nails as long as you bend it close to 90 degrees after driving them in. Might want to use wire nails for such applications

Hello, i live in denmark and some of the very iconic pieces around here indeed Feature danish Cord. We had our chair re-weaved recently. But say...is it possible there are variations to this pattern? I have seen with 30mm and 15mm nail spacing...

Good job clean and elegant and the wood work is amazing in type of wood and details of excusion I've just loved it , but for a beginner I missed the begin of second step when you jumped into it all of a sudden when you didnt leave any detail in step 1 though you didnt show how you've fixed the cord in the 1st. place in all the steps and you started from the middle covering and ( garnishing ) the rim of the bench .
